Hmmm not sure really, usually when I read them, every spare minute I have is spent reading , this one hasn't had the same effect.

I think the fact that there isn't a murder in it, so there's no who dunnit maybe the problem! Although I'm about half way through so time yet I suppose!.

i probably shouldnt have read that spoiler as i will most likely pick the book up at some point!!

Finished it this morning..disappointing book with a disappointing ending, it did pick up for a couple of chapters and if you are a Roy Grace follower then you get all the latest in his personal life which you need in the hopefully much better next RG installment.

Thanks...Just read the reviews on Amazon, most thought it was good so perhaps it was just me..

An Elizabeth Haynes book next...Supposed to be very good..

Just finished The Abominable Man, and about to start The Locked Room. Both by Maj Sjöwall & Per Wahlöö. 7th and 8th of the Martin Beck series of police procedurals. I've really loved these books, and will be sad when I have read the next and final two.

Just finished Mercy by Jussi Adler-Olsen, which is very good. Set in Denmark, which makes a change from Sweden & Norway I s'pose!
