I enjoyed the trilogy, though the second book, I didn't enjoy as much as the others, have you read "Jessica" by same author? Really really loved that book.
I've just finished "The Perfect One", also by Bryce Courtenay which was very good, and about to start "Into The Darkest Corner" by Elizabeth Haynes

Just started 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I hesitated about buying it for years because it isn't a Discworld novel, but I'm really enjoying it!
At the moment I'm reading 'Backspin' by Harlen Coben. Good book so far, but not so surprised as his first 3 books in the Myron Bolitar saga were fantastic! 
Really recommend this author to everyone.

I haven't read Jessica yet but I think it is in my pile to read although it might be Sylvia - I'll have to check later but if I haven't got it, I'll add it to my wishlist, thanks for the recommendation! In addition to the Australian Trilogy so far I've read Power of One and Tandia, Matthew Flinders Cat, the Persimmon Tree and April Fools Day, so I have a fair few more of his to read.

I am a big fan of Harlan Coben and have read all his books I do prefer the stand alones, but love Myron and Win too.
Currently on holiday and am spending a lot of time with my nose in a book. Reading See Jane Die by Erica Spindler at the moment and have just finished The Confession by John Grisham.

Just finished Never Let me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Muat say wasn't to impressed with it and keep reading waiting to see if it got any better.

I thought it was an excellent book - it's a disturbing and uncomfortable read at times as it is very much revolves around apartheid and therefore mans inhumanity to man, but it's very well written and I enjoyed it as a worthy sequel to The Power of One.
Just had to say that I've finally succumbed - not least because of all of you talking about yours - I've bought a Kindle - can't wait
Finished In Between The Sheets which felt rather dated to me but then I'm not realy ashort story person anyway.

Another massive Coben fan here,but I am the opposite of you Button,I like the stand alones,but I love the Bolitar books
About 2/3rds of the way through The Moses :Legacy by Adam Palmer. To be honest not impressed fairly bland and boring. But I do like books which poke around biblical stuff and try and disprove parts of it. Mainly because as far as I'm concerned the bible is complete tosh.
I finished The Radleys last night. It was surprisingly alright if you can suspend disbelief (disappointing ending though... I'll admit it, I don't know what makes a good ending but I know I haven't found one very recently 
)

One of my fave books ever. I'm almost the polar opposite to you though, I avoided Pratchett for years, because Wizards and alternative universes, just reminded me of Dungeon & Dragons sadness in school.
Yet, I read this because it was set on Earth (well mainly), and I was brought up alternately on schlocky horror Films, and before that Just William books. So it was a perfect pastiche of these things for me. An ineffable book.
Since then I've read all the Discworld novels, and love them "Guards Guards" the best IMHO.
So doubly thankful for the book.
