The Information, James Gleik. Very good (I recommend) "pop science" trawling through information theory, Marshall McLuhan, libraries, telegraphy, Babbage, Maths, dictionaries ...... presented as inceresting "concrete examples" ........

The Body In The Library - Agatha Christie. Definitely my favourite author by far. Going to read as much of her literature as I can this year.

World War Z - Max Brooks

Enjoying it so far, have always thought that the Zombie thing was highly unlikely to happen, i.e. to escalate in the way of the films, but this makes it all seem very plausible.

Have just finished Into The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. I really enjoyed this book although it did freak me out a fair bit reading this in the house in the small hours on my own!

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I've read Scandinavian crime books for years but never fancied this for some reason.Bought it yesterday to see if it lives up to the hype, and it would appear it does!

i have just finished silent scream... loved it
I enjoyed it. I'd recommend the other books in the series if you haven't read them. And the new series of Above Suspicion is on ITV at 9pm tomorrow which is the Silent Scream book storyline.

Then I read Patrick Ness's 'A MONSTER CALLS' most I've ever cried reading a book .. Brilliant book though, and now one of my all time favorites . a real keeper.

Irvine Welsh - Glue

Taking me a little while to get into on accounts of it been written in Scottish dialect, but otherwise really enjoying this gritty, coming of age story of four boys growing up on the Edinburgh schemes.

I'm reading Matched by Ally Condie. I loved the beginning but it's starting to get a little slow.

The Heart of the Family - Annie Groves (I'm reading the paper version as it isn't available on Kindle, the first 'proper' book I've read since getting my Kindle and I HATE it [the format it's in, not the story]).

I wanted to get that on Kindle (have one of her others on it)

Don't forget to click Amazon's Tell the Publisher!
I’d like to read this book on Kindle

Reading 'I Am the Messenger' by Markus Zusak and I'm not sure if I'm going to bother finishing it. The Book Thief was great but I'm just not feeling this. Anyone read it?
