My Family- Christmas Special (24th December 2010)
Will anyone else be watching?
I don't watch much of My Family anymore, but the Christmas specials are always quite good. |

I'll be watching, but only as I watch every year, I haven't enjoyed a Christmas special since the hotel one.

Last year's special was terrible with the stupid plot set in 2039. Hopefully this year its set in 2010 and a bit funnier.

This series has been parked in the BBC1 schedule even longer than 2 point 4 children

It's funny how the Christmas specials are normally better than the series, well from series 5 onwards.

Tonight's show is two episodes joined together as one, and I think they were recorded in 2009!

Don't forget though "we're not making anymore after this... until the next series".

The epitome of a show that has jumped the shark, I think. (Several years ago).

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but I agree it hasn't been at it's best for awhile, although the beginning of the last series was good and I thought it had really turned a corner, however that only lasted about 2/3 episode.

I agree, there were two distinct plots that were entirely separate. Haven't they done this before, ramming two episodes together like that?
On the whole, it was watchable, but nowhere near as good as it used to be years ago. |
