So pleased you have enjoyed the photographs. For the record, they are all official - I'm a journalist with a BBC licence to use them. Usage conditions are very, very strict and in order to abide by them, they are published on my website taking into consideration all of the requirements. That's why, if you want to see them, I let you know where they are. In no way have I needed nor aspired to drive traffic to my site; I'm fulfilling my obligations this way.

It's true to say that some people on here have been unpleasant and I haven't felt any need to explain myself to them.

You have all been adorable and I'm very grateful for your support. Believe it or not, publishing the images etc takes up a lot of time over the length of the series. But haven't they been great. Full credit to the production team and the photographers who have worked so hard.... my bit at the end is really nothing....

Can I just add a note to maybe make it clear why people questioned the links. I dont understand why you could not maybe have added the information then and not waited till now to explain it .
It was questioned as to why you posted links to your site and if it was to generate traffic and hits .I actually think that was a very fair question and had you explained it like you just did maybe it would have cleared the air .
The question was raised when there were two posts one day with a link to your site and I think it was reasonable to ask the validity and legality of the pictures
I know I asked the legality and had I got an explaination maybe we could have cleared the air then .
You are entitled to post the link and people are entitled to ask if its legit .I didnt see unpleasantness , I saw people ask a valid question .
