LOL - we once had to throw our dinner out because my mum left the kitchen for a couple of minutes and when she returned she found one of our cats sitting on the cooker with his head in a pot of mince.

well he was lucky he was a cat as he might of got a smacked bottom.. but the moral of this story is never leave your cats where they can nick your lunch..

Once my maisey moo knicked my daughters battered sausage out of her hand it was still on the fork at the time. We have too have back up when making sandwiches or one them nick it. They will try anything. We cant get a piece of meat out of a packet as they hear you doing in and they gang up on you.

One of our two cats, Oscar is like that - open a packet of ham, turkey, corn beef and he is awake and out like a shot and sitting beside you licking his lips... or trying to get on you lap whilst you're eating a sandwich.

Cooking Christmas dinner we had to shut him out or else he'd have eaten the turkey. Casper, our other cat doesn't bother at all, you could waft a fresh salmon under his nose and he wouldn't even wake up...

When I lived at home my cat Herbie would swipe mum's steaks off the lit BBQ... clever little sod. I'm now at home with my 12 (at the moment) cats and we're vegetarian... mwahahahaha

My MIL's old cat worked out how to open the fridge, eventually they had to put a childlock on the door. She also ended up with burnt paws whilst trying to nick sausages out of the frying pan. A very determined animal

Very! One of our cats could open doors (depending on the handle) and cupboards but never worked that out!

Could be worse, my cat stole my neighbours rabbit. He walked into our kitchen carrying it in his mouth, blood EVERYWHERE

we buried the rabbit quickly and denied all knowledge

My are vegitarians too. They even eat the vegs. Its like a mass stampede when i get out of the fridge there is 15 of them. God forbid i go to the local shop and dont come back with a packet of meat they sulk for ages. I always do a head count at meal times as well. I dont say there names just count them as most of them look like one another

They are quick when they want to be lol. I was once eating a chicken sandwich and looked away from my plate for a few seconds and when I looked back it was gone and my cat was eating it on the floor. Cheeky little so and so. We have 3 cats now and we can't eat any food on our laps as they all try and paw it off you.

Not only will mine eat chips (with curry sauce), but she also eats Bachelors Cheese and Broccoli Pasta in Sauce (not just the sauce, but the pasta tubes as well) and tinned sponge puddings.

She drinks tea as well.

Haha! My cat is obsessed with sausages! She once managed to almost steal one. Had it in her mouth but was caught. I then unknowingly ate said sausage in a sandwich I was made! Our other cat used to steal scones .

I once started to make a bacon sandwich and put the raw meat on the kitchen table. As I turn the hob on what do I see in the corner of my eye?. Next door's tabby sprinting away with the whole pack. little bastard
