Does Ireland have their own version of Strictly?
I don't know why I thought about this but it just struck me as interesting to find out whether there has been one or not.

Our show is for everyone. Otherwise Scotland, Wales would have their too, which makes no sense as we have numerous Irish, welsh contestants not so much Scottish. We need thean from Catchphrase, Roy Walker.

I imagine the OP was referring to the Irish Republic.
They are not allowed to vote in the UK version, the same as European countries, but the same problem applies re celebs; even the UK version borrows celebs from elsewhere - eg Michelle Williams

There's no Irish Strictly, although there was a show a couple of years ago, rather embarrassing, which was called Celebrity Jigs N Reels. I don't remember much about it, but what I do remember is - Jean Butler from Riverdance was one of the judges, as was the rugby commentator George Hook, although I can't remember if he is actually in any way qualified for that role or if they just got him for the laugh. Don't remember the other judges. The celebrities were pretty small-fry, although I think Dana was in it!!

It's not our worst-ever reality programme, I also remember one about a farm which may very well have been called just Celebrity Farm. CRINGE.

I do remember it, you'd get a celeb paired with a dancer and they'd to do some sort of jig or reel to a modern day choon... I think they ran out of celebrities after two seasons

I feel like Strictly is ours as well, even though I guess it isn't. Though the tour is coming here to Dublin

I reckon if you can receive BBC1, it's yours

Would be great to have your own version though, you have enough celebs surely - I bet Marian Keynes would love to do it!

Then there's the Nolans, they could complete half the line-up.
