We did, they were flanking Sugar. neither said anything that was original or went against the script. They did as they were told (by the producers)

I think that it's more likely they said what they wanted to say and the producers edited it to make their contributions appear to fit the script.

I think they were fired before we even got to see them.

Could he have been refering to Carol Voderman and Ed Miliband. I'd have love to seen them on the show.
