So guys Alex is making a new album!!!!

What do you think it will sound like/think it should sound like?
What producers will work on it? (we no redone is)
Will the singles me a success? (any more number ones)
Where will the album Chart? Predicted sales
Will she be a success in America
And will she win any Brit's, Grammy's or Mobo's

From the sounds of it, this album will be waaay hotter than the first one. I'm hoping for an edgier dance/R&B sound like Rihanna's Loud, as those type of songs would really suit Alex's voice.

Obviously RedOne is working on it, but Alex has already revealed that she is working with Swizz Beatz and StarGate, and has even hinted at a collaboration with Drake

Plus, she also worked with the producers/songwriters who did Alexis Jordan's Happiness, as well as Sean Garrett, who did Toy Soldier on Britney's Blackout album.

Obviously we have to wait and see, but my expectations are very high, seeing as though this is the album they will be taking to the US, its got to be hot...

Her and RedOne work really well together, she should definitely work with The Smeezingtons again. She would also suit a David Guetta song.

Would love to see her do a bit more rock-chick material, like Dangerous.

A collaboration with Drake would be great, maybe a duet with a female too would be great, Beyonce, if they can get hold of her? Or maybe even Nicki Minaj. Theres so many possibilities for her.

As long as there is growth and she steps away from the cheese, she'll be fine.

Simon et all are throwing their support behind Cheryl.

A collab. with someone like Beyonce or Nicki would br perfect to launch her in the US, though I think Bey might be a little too ''high profile''.

They'll do exactly what happens in the XF forum here, and only comment on how much better Beyonce is than her.

You're right.

Why was I tempted to do that?

Sounds good. Sean Garret has also worked with Beyonce on her last album I believe. I share your sentiments though, I hope this album is more edgier. A collabo with Drake would be great!

It would be cool if Mr. Garret did something like Toy Soldier or Massive Attack with Alex, he's big into strong drums, and that could sound very good with her.

Whatever Simon Cowell wants it to be, probally the easiest type of music to sell in America, which is the Rihanna route so They WILL go with that. Not to eveole, just to sell.

Whoever is in the limelight atm.

X Factor will help get her a few number ones,

Be a success wheer ever Simon can get her on an x factor.

Probally have a shit collorbation (joinging the sheep again) then people will forget about her as she is not a strong enough artist to release solo singles in a row, she needs collobatrations to survive.

Not a the grammys, maybe the brits and probally the mobos.

Yeah, I agree Maybe something like Upgrade You perhaps. He's also produced Goodies for Ciara, but I don't think AB should go down that route.

Something about Alex singing about her cookie jar repels me.

Indeed. I don't think that would work at all. I'm pleased she's working with RedOne as well, but I hope it isn't TSWO mk 2. Alex is great, but that song is awful.

Anything but Broken Heels!

I'm still scarred by the horror of that song.

Apart from Wagner, she's the only X Factor ''star'' I like.

Simon is not that involved with Alex. Epic are the driving force behind her. She is a strong enough artist to have some of the best producers working with her. It's like saying Rihanna needs collaborations to survive, since most of her biggest hits recently have been. Nonsense. It's what her genre of music involves. And anyway, Alex has hardly collaborated with huge stars. It's unlikely that Laza Morgan was the selling point on Start Without You and Pitbull on All Night Long.

She's been working with Sandy Vee in the last few weeks, who was behind Rihanna's Only Girl and S & M and Katy Perry's Firework. Also been working with the Phantom Boyz who produced Bad Boys.

I like Alex, some JLS stuff (not anything recent though), and I'm interested in hearing what Rebecca from XF7 has to offer in 2011.

We'll have to agree to disagree then!

I like Rebecca, actually. I could see her doing a Sade-type sound.
And I love Sade.

Never ''agree to disagree''.
Beat them into submission!

Only kidding.

Start Without You and Broken Heels are pretty divisive songs.

I think her material with RedOne on album two will be much less cheesy. More along the lines of What Happens On the Dancefloor.

I'm a Sade fan too. On Rebecca, I think she could go down quite a few routes musically, the Sade style being one of them.
