It's Robbie singing the verses but who primarily sings the chorus?

I read that Jason and Howard have lead vocals on one song and I'm wondering whether it's this song? Anyone know?

To be honest that song is not my favourite so Ive not really listened to it enough but I do know that Jason's main song is Flowerbed (which is the hidden track) and Howard's main song is Affirmation

I think it sounds primarily like Gary?!

I hate how they give Robbie all the parts.

Yeh I know they've both got one on their own In The Sun's Bizarre column it said that they both sung lead on one song but I can't remember what it was. However, I can't see it being any of them really The chorus sounds a bit like Jason though

I think Pretty Things has them both singing lead simultaneously, with Gary singing the lower register.

Happy Now has Robbie on the verses, Gary doing the bridge, and (what sounds like) all of them on the chorus.

He should have released this album on his own. It would have been a good move after the slightly underwhelming RKTVS. It is, to all intents and purposes a Robbie ft Mark Owen album (with noble backing by Gary, Howard and Jason).

Incidentally ... apart from a couple of duff songs (The Flood and Eight Letters) ... this is the first Robbie Williams album I've liked. I may have to borrow Rudebox and give it another spin now ... previously I only listened to She's Madonna and Lovelight ... before giving the album back.

I disagree with the comments about Robbie. I think that this was the only way their reunion would ever work. Pretty much the entire reason things fell apart back in the day, at least in the later days of their initial run, was that Gary was hogging not only the vocals but the songwriting and in the later days it resulted in a struggle for power and limelight, not only between Gary and Robbie but between Gary and the rest of them. They've more or less admitted that. They've spent the first two albums of their new run working out a way to share it around.

Whilst I agree that Progress is perhaps the album that Robbie should have made, it is still distinctly Take That. It would never have worked to have come back with another album where Robbie played backup. What would be the point?

I always felt that they way that they worked on this album was their idea of the way it always should have been.

OK, it's so hard to work out who sings sometimes Thanks for that.

The main thing with Progress is that Gary wanted to take more of a back seat with the lead vocals and concentrate on songwriting and production. Robbie, as the strongest vocalist, was bound to be prominent throughout. Why bring him back if you're not gonna use him?

I agree and it's made TT more contemporary and just made the music fresher.

It's harder to tell who leads on some tracks on this album - before it's been quite clear who it was. For instance, I first thought Kidz was Mark and Robbie - but it turns out that it is Mark and Gary singing that one.
