That's the trouble with pent up emotion, it can well up at any time and erupt like a volcano. In the early days she clung to Vanessa like a comfort blanket and has been adrift ever since. Her one time best buddy Dan now seems to be more comfortable with Nadia. It's a bit of a one way street with Shell, her pretty pretty niceness has prevented anyone taking up small issues such as the diet regime that she enforced. A small row over chicken nuggets in the early days would have brought her into the group as they would have divided over the lovers of the nuggets and the lovers of the cornfed. They could then have eaten what they chose and she would have been a giver and not a dictator. I have not once seen her laugh at herself. That's what draws Nadia and Dan together. They have a comfortable warts and all relationship where they can laugh at themselves, at each other or together. A sense of humour is the most effective tool in any relationship kit bag.
