You're right! Why dwell on the nastiness when that punch (and it's wonderful sound effect) made up for everything!

What a shame that Peter didn't see and hear it.

I really like the maroon coat Leanne was sporting in that clip, too. We never saw it very much, sadly
Yeah that coat was lovely. Too bad she didn't sport it long. It could've given that red piece she lived in for months a run for its money!

Finding Corrie in general a tad tedious at the moment. Hopefully Detective Dev will add some momentum to the Karl story line. I'm rather hoping the baby reveal will hurry up and get on the screen now...
Corrie's been an ordeal this week. It's just focused on too many unlikeable characters - Gary, Tina, Izzy, Rob, Tracy, Chesney, Katy....

I was moaning about the Kylie/Nick baby stuff initially because it just sounded so unoriginal, but I'm actually really looking forward to the fallout (Leanne hurt aside of course!)

What a shame that Peter didn't see and hear it.
Even if he had've seen it all, he wouldn't have reacted much. He was still in that weird, spaced out phase at that time

Still seems like that now plus being a wimp and doormat.
IMO.

Ah, but the red mac was legendary.

I agree, it's just been  for me.

I'm sort of looking forward to it now. I'm sure Jane will be excellent as ever and I also really love Paula Lane, I think the character of Kylie has really come on since she first arrived.

Have a good weekend, all!

I think he's pretty much gone back to normal now!

I love PL too! Obviously wasn't keen on her when she first turned up, sold Max etc - but now she's one of my faves! Like I've said in the past, I would've really loved a Leanne/Kylie friendship but I think that hope has been totally annihilated now!

Good weekend, thanks, hope everyone else had a good one.
First day back at work after time off actually flew by, which was nice!

Yeah, I think Paula Lane is top quality and I'm really looking forward to see how Kylie copes with the fallout, as well as Leanne.

Define 'normal' in Corrie!

Normal as in irritable and frowny None of that spaced out, spreading-the-love vibe when he was stuck with Rob!

No need to be sheepish on here!

Yes, fine, thanks. Good weekend of tennis, no complaints from me, even if Monday always comes around too soon.

I was glad for some unexpected Leanne tonight. Not sure about her huge handbag...perhaps
Spoiler

The pub chat was all a bit awkward...s'pose it doesn't really help that Leanne really dislikes Karl, though they're clearly ratcheting up the tempo with Dev doing all his detective work. No idea why Stella was being so morbid, although I suppose she probably suspected that Leanne has been staying away because of Karl.

Hello.

I am confused which is easily done. If Nick's flat doesn't exist, where do he, Lee and Simon live?

Hahaha, no, I was just messing around, I just meant that it doesn't exist because we haven't ever seen it!

It's meant to be in Victoria Court, I think.

ETA: Hope you're good, k9?

Glad you had a good weekend LOL at the spoiler!

I wasn't expecting Leanne to pop up either so it was a nice surprise - although her hair didn't look as good as it did the last time we saw her.

They've still got her openly disliking Karl, but at least she's not doing the "me or him" routine anymore. I wonder if Leanne's going to side with Dev? I'm thinking of a little anti-Karl grouping of Leanne, Jason and Dev

As Gunner says, it's just making fun of the fact that Nick/Leanne/Simon's abode has never been seen!

Agreed about her hair, think it is a bit too short now. Liked it better as it was a few weeks ago.

Yes! There needs to be a spin off where these three go off solving crime!

Leanne's the boss who's really good but has a really tortured personal life like Jane Tennison from Prime Suspect. Dev's the rule-breaking maverick, slightly eccentric next in line. Jason's the young, good-looking upstart.
