I'm wondering if it will replace the leather jackets she usually sports. They're lovely too!
I'm hoping we get some decent Leanne time tonight. She has a talk with Stella about her plans so hopefully it won't be a quick five minutes.

But better than nothing I only watched the last few minutes, probably the only part of the programme that was worth watching

Thinking about it, I'm amazed Frank hasn't tipped of Social Services re. Simon. Two unstable alcoholics (one of which has a very volatile relationship with Simon) bringing him up? Frank would jump at another chance to make Carla's life harder, I'm amazed he hasn't gone for it.

Can I just say how much I loved Stella in last nights episode, the way she stuck up for Simon was great. I wish she would just ring the police on Carla for running her down though, why she is letting her off I do not know.

I felt so so sorry for Leanne last night. She seems really lost in life. So excited for next weeks scenes!

Thought Peter at least seemed to be spending some time with Si, although it was probably just to see his side of the story. Is it just me that thinks it was very uncomfortable to see him being dragged by Carla when he was obviously distressed and did not want to go with her? I'm not sure she should have dragged him like that, not her place. She's only been in his life a few weeks and he can't stand her and is sick of her being everywhere.

See all the excuses she had for drinking?? Why make out she has a problem if she wont face upto it?

Sorry for babbling.

Yes I am very surprised!! Perhaps he likes how hard Simon is making things for Carla at the minute though?

Think Stella's keeping quiet about the car accident because it wouldn't just be Carla who went down for it. Leanne knew about it and so did Peter, so they'd have to be punished too and where would that leave Simon? It'd just open up a huge can of worms and may backfire badly.

I agree about Leanne seeming lost. The tension in her when she arrived at the Rovers was horrible. I could feel how uneasy she was! I still hate the fact that she's intending to leave though. I don't believe that she'd just take off like that. I know she said she was going to give Simon a proper goodbye, but would she really just leave him? I still say no.

Just going to randomly ask how Leanne's look went down yesterday? I know she's been working that red coat a lot recently, but the gloves and the beret? I thought it was a bit OTT, and Leanne usually dresses well. Just felt a bit red-overkill.

I think - she goes to the flat for her stuff, has a run-in with Carla, is getting ready to leave when Simon sees her and asks her to stay, he tells her Carla hit him so she goes to the factory!

Well Leanne is a much better person than I am, if I caught that two faced bitch there I'd have floored her, Is there a preview for the scene of the two of them in the flat?

Spoiler
Monday 5 March 2011 7:30pm

After meeting with a very persuasive Jenny, Carla tells Frank he can buy her out. As she announces her decision to the staff, Frank and Jenny are smug about duping Carla. But in the Rovers a bitter Sally reveals that Carla's friend and new business partner Jenny is in fact Frank's lover. Horrified, Michelle realises that Carla is being set up and races to the factory with Sally. As Peter and Carla join Anne and Frank to sign the deal will they arrive in time to prevent Carla from being scammed?

Peter wants Simon back at home but when he goes to collect him from the Barlows drunk, Deirdre refuses.

Monday 5 March 2011 8:30pm

Carla's horrified as Frank, Anne and Jenny gloat. Outside the factory, Frank sees Leanne and, determined to kick Peter and Carla while they're down, he tells Leanne about Peter's drunken state and claims he fears for Simon's safety. Leanne heads to the flat and seeing both Peter and Carla drinking, she tells Peter she's going for custody of Simon. On the edge, Peter goes on a massive bender which sees Nick throwing him out of the wine bar. In turmoil herself, Carla returns to the factory to have it out with Frank alone, he ridicules her then threatens to rape her again leaving Carla terrified. Back at the pub the factory staff are stunned to hear they no longer have jobs as Kevin rants about Frank's treatment of Sally. Spotting the lights on at Underworld, Sean and Julie decide to confront Frank but they're horrified to find Sally kneeling over Frank's body, blood on her hands. Has she killed him?

Thursday 8 March 2011 7:30pm

Frank's lifeless body remains in the factory as the police investigate the crime scene. Detectives question Sally who admits that while she was angry with Frank, there were other people with bigger axes to grind. Michelle breaks the news of Frank's death to Carla who becomes worried about Peter's absence, he didn't come home last night. Anne arrives at the scene as Frank's body is being removed and tells the police they should arrest Carla. At the bookies flat they grill Carla about her turbulent relationship with Frank. Covering Peter's absence she admits she hated Frank but denies killing him. Carla's alone in the flat when Peter eventually returns. She goes for him before breaking down as Peter confesses he went on a bender and has no idea where he spent the night. Spotting blood on his clothes Carla realises this doesn't look good and challenges him about it. Did Peter kill Frank?

Friday 9 March 2011 7:30pm

As Carla tries to get Peter to remember where he was they agree to wash his clothes and maintain he was at the flat all night. When Peter's then taken to the police station for questioning, after Anne revealing how aggressive he was when Carla signed the factory over, he sticks to his story claiming that after leaving the Bistro he went straight home. On the street Jason finds a broken whisky bottle in the builder's skip covered in blood and hands it to the police. Have they got their murder weapon? Back at the station Peter's feeling the pressure and when they demand to know how Peter could have bought a bottle of whisky from an off licence when he claimed to be with Carla it looks like the net is closing in!

Friday 9 March 2011 8:30pm

Under relentless questioning, Peter admits to the police that he was drunk and has no idea where he was when Frank was murdered. But in no position yet to charge him, they're forced to let Peter go. Back on the street, Peter accuses Carla of thinking he killed Frank and refusing to go home with her, he heads to the pub where he continues to drink. Meanwhile Anne has found the new factory contract is mysteriously missing from Frank's desk and conveys the significance of this to the police. Combined with the finger print analysis on the whisky bottle the police are now convinced they've got their murderer and head to the street to make an arrest. Are they coming back for Peter or are all eyes now on Carla?
