But I do have to say....THAT is the Leanne we need to see more of!

I've missed all corrie eps since Frinday.. but I couldn't help catch a bit from today and must say, Leanne/ Jane looked particularly nice in that dress, finally something that compliments her! And I hate Sunita so much I was willing Leanne to punch her. I adore feisty Leanne (other than when it's aimed at Carla off course )

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't an actual fist fight/slap etc, but it was still great. The way she slammed the menu shut, too, was excellent.

Yeah, I really wanted another Stella-esq bitchfight too, but that tart line was brilliant

Like I said, this is what Leanne needs to get back to, rather than moping around over Peter and Carla - although I fully understand why she does.

I loved that she was so positive with Stella, too, encouraging her to be upbeat and not to be upset about Karl.

Ironic really, considering that she's far from upbeat about Peter!! I sense a Stella/Karl reunion soon though.

I'm going to be totally OT for a moment but... I bought my first fish for my tank on Friday and it turns out that one of them was pregnant! Totally caught off guard when I saw a baby at like 2am this morning!

Well, I originally wanted to name them Mark and Jez (after Peep Show ) but that's out the window considering one of them is a lady. I did like Mark and Jez for them though Thinking I could turn Jez into a unisex name? I don't know At the moment though I can't think straight because I've got a very nasty case of Swimmers Ear

Getting back OT though, Rob wants to make a play for Stella!!! What's even worse is that there is apparently a spark between them! This is where we need a Leanne/Eva combo to sort Rob out and knock some sense into Stella.

I think the fish are far more interesting than the programme currently

Stella/Rob will just be horribly uncomfortable to watch if anything does happen. I can't stand Rob, but I also don't think Stella would do that to her own daughter. She's not been written like that at all so far, so why change her now? Although Corrie has a thing for personality transplants - yes I'm looking at you Sunitart! Leanne's reservations do sound like they're justified, but if she does an "I told you so" routine with Eva then she won't be thanked. Poor Eva, first guy went for her sister, second went for her mother

And Eva had just split up with a boyfriend when she started in the programme.

Yes, Eva has been pretty unlucky in love thus far. Agree that it wouldn't be in-character for Stella to start anything up, hopefully it will just be short story arc and nothing too damaging will come of it.

After such a concentration on the fight for Simon, it's a bit disappointing we haven't had many family orientated scenes with him and Leanne [and Nick]. But, of course, this isn't crucial to the current plot, so it probably won't feature.

I'd have welcomed a 0-0 for us rather than that embarrassing 3-0


Yes! Unless Alex Bain hasn't been about to film anything, I don't see why there's been no focus on Leanne's attempt to settle for her mediocre family set up. I really hope they're not going to hold her back until P&C return. Even if they haven't filmed any family scenes, surely they could write something into the script the next time we see Leanne?
