Yes, Jane Danson. She’s great to work with and I’ve really liked the work she’s done over the years on the Street. Although Karl and Stella weren’t married, she is a kind of stepdaughter to him and therefore the reason for him being on the street in the first place.

When I came into the show and was told what the character was going to be like, I thought there was the potential for Karl and Leanne to have an affair. But for whatever reason the writers chose not to go down that road. Maybe it would have been too traumatic for Stella. Yet I’ve always felt that I will be having a big storyline with Leanne at some point and there do seem to be hints of it coming up, so I hope it happens.

Very interesting (and true) comment that, of course, Karl only arrived in Weatherfield because of Leanne. If he goes more off the rails, perhaps he could start blaming her for his misdeeds, because he wouldn't be there otherwise. That's a long shot, but anyway...

I'm glad they didn't have an affair, I think it would be a bit too much for Stella to go through on top of all the other stuff they have put her through. Furthermore, they've done some good work in repairing Leanne and Stella's relationship, so to go back on that would be disappointing. It would be quite a big betrayal for Leanne to be romantically involved with him. That said, who knows what her reaction to the baby reveal will be.

I wonder what the hints of them being more involved are. Interesting.

The surprise, Karl and Leanne's storyline, the aftermath of the fire. Just put it all into my mind's magimix so to speak and I got this answerLeanne is going to uncover something or pick up some knowledge from someone maybe to link Karl to the fire.Karl i think mentioned that he was going to find himself having to consider taking another life. Maybe he is going to be confronted by Leanne, then panic and have to act fast, holding her hostage or something. Peter will be having difficulties with Carla, Rob and Tracey and he'll then gradually be alerted to the fact that Leanne is missing. In the interim, worrying himself frantic, he will come to his senses and realise what Leanne means to him, while at the same time taking part in the mission to find her and save her life. There could be another seige event and Peter will push past everyone to beg Leanne's forgiveness, thereby paving the way to their eventual reconciliation. Carla is devestated of course and pisses off back to L.A. Permanantly. Does this sound good?Its does to me

I know that the actor who plays Les really would love to be back on the Street but am guessing the producers would still think of him as a bit of a liabilty, so what better way to round things up?I wonder how it would impact on Leanne? I think my version of events could definitely have something in it, i don't know why but I keep seeing in my minds eye something to do with the canal again and the bookies, don't know what it means tho lol.

I'd say it was far too early for the baby plot reveal, definitely. Stella's only just had another near-death experience, they need to give Leanne a little breathing room after that. That Gail/Kylie scene we had recently suggested that all parties in the know were happy to try and keep a lid on it...for now.

I'd have to be in two minds about Leanne being pregnant. Nick is obviously in his prime and life doea have a tendency to complicate matters like this, well maybe that's just my experienceA baby causes limitations, though if I were the writers I would be trying to think far ahead and at some stage Simon should have a sibling to fight with, so maybe. I think if Leanne has a baby after surviving a possible hostage situation with Karl and the revelation that Nick has fathered Kylie's baby, she'll be left as a full on young single mum who Peter will grow to appreciate and admire so much that he'll do everything in his power to win back, Though he should be tortured of course for a long time before Leanne would even consider it. It's just another theory but in between all the theories there lies some truth i think

Just want to pick up on the Karl/Leanne thing. If Karl goes full on psycho then I think him going after Leanne because she doesn't trust him would be amazing! The idea of Karl killing anyone who gets in his way has been floated; and if Leanne doesn't trust him then I can see her being on his hit list. Not so sure he'd go all the way and kill her because that'd destroy Stella, but I'm liking the idea of him getting all sinister with Leanne. I can see Leanne not letting any suspicions of him go and being really vocal about it. She'd probably push him too far. Imagine if he threatened to harm Simon or something On the downside, Leanne being suspicious of Karl is counteracted by Eva rating him a a good guy, so I'd imagine another Leanne/Eva conflict will arise.

Re: the shock Leanne gets. I doubt the baby reveal will come until Kylie pops the kid out. Also, if it were on the horizon of it all being revealed, surely there'd be proper spoilers somewhere by now? I'm actually not hoping for a pregnancy. I'm sick of pregnancy SLs, Collinson was obsessed with them. I suppose it would complicate things for Nick; and Leanne doesn't think she can have kids naturally, so it's highly possible. I'm just hoping it isn't going to be that.

Hey guys Really sorry I haven't been on here in a few hours.Bloody electric's been down since 2,went back to normal at about half 5,and I've only just got round to posting again.Reading that link,I still aren't sure whether that is the shock news or not,it just says she's suspicious,so my guess is the shock news is something completely different,and I doubt Karl would confess to killing Sunita.Wishful thinking I know but could Peter try to win her back? The shock news could be he wants her back.Probably fat chance,but you never know.And a boy can dream,can't he? I have changed my theory because I have decided that is far too early for the ONS revelation,which I still think will lead to a P&L reunion.They're like Ken & Deirdre,they'll break up,but they'll always get back together I can just imagine what will happen when the ONS comes out:

I'm not just watching her. she allows you to experience what she's going through as if it was yourself there. Remember Jane said that it would take her and Peter a long long time to get together again (i know you are impatient like me) but it depends on what she meant by that. I know I bet everyone was kinda like wtf is drunk Carl doing here They more than likely thought it was because she was Leanne's friend not that she was trying to have it off with Peter.

Maybe she was crying because she realised that by encouraging Nick to run to Pete she had put them together in that office - although since she never takes responsibility for her scheming actions it's doubtful.:sleep:
