No problem Smashbox, Don't think there were enough smiles on the planet to follow that I agree with you about Peter, it's as though he's had a lobotomy or something. It's like the smile of a man who is about to go into the next room and commit hara kiri. Give him back his life!!

There really wasn't
It really is like he has!
The Karl and Leanne stuff sounds interesting, great to know Jane will have a bit of a storyline anywhoo. I wonder how long it will go on before he's found out? What he did was so low tonight! Him and Carl have summit in common in that they don't think they should be held accountable for their crimes.

Yikes, this thread is moving fast

Just want to pick up on the Karl/Leanne thing. If Karl goes full on psycho then I think him going after Leanne because she doesn't trust him would be amazing! The idea of Karl killing anyone who gets in his way has been floated; and if Leanne doesn't trust him then I can see her being on his hit list. Not so sure he'd go all the way and kill her because that'd destroy Stella, but I'm liking the idea of him getting all sinister with Leanne. I can see Leanne not letting any suspicions of him go and being really vocal about it. She'd probably push him too far. Imagine if he threatened to harm Simon or something On the downside, Leanne being suspicious of Karl is counteracted by Eva rating him a a good guy, so I'd imagine another Leanne/Eva conflict will arise.

Re: the shock Leanne gets. I doubt the baby reveal will come until Kylie pops the kid out. Also, if it were on the horizon of it all being revealed, surely there'd be proper spoilers somewhere by now? I'm actually not hoping for a pregnancy. I'm sick of pregnancy SLs, Collinson was obsessed with them. I suppose it would complicate things for Nick; and Leanne doesn't think she can have kids naturally, so it's highly possible. I'm just hoping it isn't going to be that.
BIB: Gotta agree, I didn't envisage this story line could occur at all and I think it could be really, really good. You're quite right that it would probably perpetuate the Leanne/Eva conflict, though. Gloria seems to be gushing about Karl at the moment, too. I did think from that small scene that Leanne had with Karl in the hospital that she was still very wary of him indeed, despite his 'heroics' in going in to save Stella.

Thanks for the link, buzzy. Will have to have a peek tonight.

Happy Easter, all. Nearly done for the week.

Yeah, this thread is moving fast, and it's probably partly down to me.I post daily. We'll probably get a part 2 before the end of next week.I've changed my theory:maybe Peter wants her back? The Karl stuff should be good, and I agree re: threatening to harm Simon. He will probably threaten to harm him,he might even actually do it Karl hurting Simon would break Leanne, and he knows that.If Leanne doesn't trust him, there's every chance he'll want to harm those closest to her.But not Leanne herself. She's way tougher than Karl! She'll BATTER him(no pun intended)

What happened to your smutty stories there lovecarla, did you think better of keeping them up there? It seems to me that Carla's fans might be happier watching her starring in a dirty movie judging by what I just read And I am sure about Leanne and Peter, very sure. That's what Mr Blackburn told me
I hate it when all the Carla fans come on here, wanting to pick a fight. This is the LEANNE appreciation thread, why didn't lovecarla post it on their beloved Carla's thread. If they've come on here in a bid to convert us,well it's not working, because I will NEVER ship Carter.Awful, awful couple HATE THEM!!!!!.But I will ALWAYS love Petanne

HI Buzzyvibe and a very happy Good Friday to you too. Will be watching out for Jane in tonights episodes. I even rewatched part of weds episode to try and assess was that Nick and Leanne's flat. There didn't seem to be any distinguishing features from what I could tell but I am wondering where Karl has supposedly been living all this time. What are we supposed to think that he's been in his car?

Thought I'd say how lovely Jane looked when I went to the Corrie Gates this weeks, sadly didn't meet her but she gave us a wake and is very beautiful in the flesh (from what I could see!).

Chris implied he hadn't been filming with her recently, but she was in pretty much every day we were there so hopefully some exciting things coming up for you all!

She's a very pretty lady, and by the sound of it it looks like Leanne will be back at the forefront of the show. There's something coming up with Karl, perhaps that's the reason she's been in nearly everyday? I reckon she'll be filming again with Chris soon, because I think P&L will get back together when the ONS comes out Fingers crossed!

Leanne is lovely, I think she's possibly without doubt the warmest, most human person with the nicest laugh on the street and it won't be long to Peter realises this again and snaps out of his spell I could see Leanne being superb in Downton abbey as well but I hope she doesn't leave the street. What song do you think would symbolise her perfectly? I think I'm every woman would serve her well.

Hey guys! Easter greetings and all that jazz May it be choc-tastic!

I wasn't expecting a twist like this either. I'm really psyched about the possibility though. Psycho Karl is so interesting to watch and I'd love some sort of cat and mouse thing with him and Leanne; although it'd be horrible if Leanne was sort of alienated from the Price dynamic because of it. As you've said, it's not just Eva who's been taken in by Karl - it's Gloria and (to a degree) Stella. Actually, the whole street (bar Jason) are hailing Karl a hero, so Leanne would be a lone voice if she aired her suspicions.

Thanks for that MAC! Take it you had a good time?

If she's been filming a lot then I'm guessing either Nick/Kylie stuff or Krazy Karl stuff. Out of the two, I'm hoping for the latter. Leanne v Karl sounds like it could be soooo good!!

What song do you think would symbolise her perfectly? I think I'm every woman would serve her well.
'Survivor' - Destiny's Child. Not that I particularly like that song or the group, but reading through the lyrics I think it could be Leanne's song to Peter (apart from the bits about wishing him well and stuff )

I must admit that I would try not to listen to Destiny's child so i can't be sure about that song. couldn't find it on youtube either but just now when I checked in here to catch up it struck me. It has to be Gloria Gaynor I will surviveSome day soon I've feeling Peter will realise who she is again and just weep,

Top song Smashbox, excellent for Leanne. I think she sing I can't stop loving you, the Martina McBride version to Peter. The words make a lot of sense and its just so powerfully in tune with their story

'I'm Every Woman' is such a good song. Both the original by Chaka Khan and the remake by Whitney are great.

BIB: True, although no doubt she'll have to be the lone dissenter until he really does something drastic. That's if it gets that far, although we've already seen the depths of his desperation this week, so who knows how far he could go? I feel that this story line has a good deal of potential and will hopefully be a good aside to the baby plot.

Love that, great song. Can't believe it is 12 years old, crikey. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wmc8bQoL-J0

Sorry about Palace, k9. What a voice Alison Moyet has, great stuff.

I can't believe we've been discussing Leanne and songs without mentioning 'Wannabe' by the Spice Girls!

As much as I love music, I'm not sure I have any specific Leanne songs. I'll have to think about it.

Happy Easter, all.
