and I have now had my Humax Freesat+ box for two years. Just another six months of Sky still charging a ridiculous £10 a month for the recording facility to be switched on and my box will have effectively cost me nowt.

Have just took the plunge and ordered the Humax and cancelled my Sky TV subscription , was hoping to save £22 a month but forgot about the £5 discount off the broadband so only saving £17 ! But at least we'll not be paying for watching old repeats now which is effectively what we've been doing ! Mind you i still can't beat the Sky broadband price in my area at £12.50 for unlimited...... Roll on Tuesday when the Humax is Delivered ! |
