Born over the Christmas bank holiday.

Info posted for the benefit of those on here that supported her.

For those that don't know, google, etc, Yasmina has worked for Amscreen for the past 18 months, not including the six months trial prior to the screening of the Series 5 final. Whilst on maternity leave at the moment, she continues there.

Congrats to her.

How long until the inevitable stupid comments about females and maternity leave starts? (Before anyone accuses me of having a chip on my shoulder, I've seen it here before, it started when people found out Yasmina was pregnant.)

Yup it's the same old story. Luckily a big company like Alan Sugar's can afford to have staff doing 18 months work then going off on maternity leave, but for a small company with only a few employees it can have a serious impact on whether the company remains profitable. A non-profitable company has an detrimental effect on all it's employees, which isn't good for anyone.

Sorry to quote from my own post at the start of this thread
'Whilst on maternity leave at the moment, she continues there. '

Do some people not know what maternity leave is?

To date Yasmina has worked at Amscreen for 18 months, plus the six month trial period prior to the final.

Well some like Claude and Bordan have served over 20 years. Sugar does tend to keep his top team, for the record.

Of the 'apprentices' Simon Ambrose is the longest to date with 3 years. Tim and Lee notched up 2 years each. Yasmina so far has been there 18 months. Those times do not include the six months' trial period the finalists serve.

Very true. That's why I put what I did. To be fair those on this forum, the posts were nowhere near as bad as the the articles in the tabloids (and the comments especially) that happened back in August. Even the broadsheets waded in.
