Dear Pizza Hut,
You really need to implement a system like Nandos where customers pay before eating. Otherwise many of your customers will continue to leave without paying. Also your customer service is awful and your pizzas are nasty with spray-on-grease yuck.

These are the Digital Spy Forums, not pizza hut.

But understand that you are here for a rant. So how have they upset you?

I agree actually. I can think of more times I've been to pizza hut and had appalling service, than times i've had good service.

Agree their Resturant is bad, seemingly 30 mins before sitting down once and getting served drinks. (One Occasion)

Their delivery service is much better..

I did a runner from pizza hut when I was about 13. There was 11 of us so it weren't easy! I still feel guilty to this day but it's their fault for advertising as cheap when they're not within a 13yo's budget.

I don't really like PH, I prefer Dominoes but they don't do the delicious warm cookie dough that PH do! *drools*

In most places like PH, the server has to foot the bill for runners,,,,

That would be an illegal work practice.

So what you are saying is you didn't like the pizza so you committed a crime? Classy.

Pizza Hut really annoys me.

Sometimes I go there with an hour and thirty minutes to spare before I have an important appointment. It takes half an hour for them to bring drinks, anotherh alf an hour for them to bring the pizza, which is usually cold. We wolf that down, then wait forever for the billl. At which point we're starting to panic. We prompt them two more times and we still don't get the bill. We get up, stand waiting, and we still don't get the bill. My appointment is in five minutes and if you want me to pay, BRING THE BILL!

I have to say I've never left without paying, but I've been so irritated by the length of time it takes them to accept my payment that I've been tempted to throw some money on the table, hpoe for the best, and run off so I can actually meet my appointment.

I've never waited long for anything in pizza hut. The last time I was there, it was a group of eight. We got our drinks within ten minutes of sitting. The pizza's were there ten/fifteen minutes after that and when we asked for the bill the waitress was back within three minutes with it for us. This is a general time whenever I go.

What I don't get is why the people complaining at constant bad service and food are still going back?

Surely, if it is as bad as you say you would have given up and found somewhere that offers better service and food?

I think that you can get both extremes, However the time I went they claimed that they were execetionally busy. Seems daft that they built the resturant that can't staff.

Leaving without paying is stealing no matter how you look at it.

And yes staff are made to stump up any missing cash at the end of the night, however if they are over they dont get to keep the extra, funny that!

I remember doing a runner once from a London Pizza hut. I was co-erced by a mate. We would have been late teens at the time, so quite a long time ago.

Is it taken out of tips money?

Either way, this sounds illegal to me.
