Other full-frontal examples I have thought of include Jason Segel in 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and quite a bizarre but funny scene it was too! Laurence Fox has done a number of full-frontal scenes in movies such as 'The Hole' as well as Michael Fassbender in 'Hunger' (quite a disturbing but powerful movie about the Maze Hinger Strikes).

Heather Graham has gone nude quite a number of times hasn't she?

Yep, and sometimes even in films that are actually good for reasons other than Heather being in them sans clothing.

Swimming Pool crops up on Film4 fairly regularly... Charlotte Rampling shows the whole lot in that.

When I hear the term 'full frontal nudity' the 1979 "sex and sandals" film 'Caligula' springs to mind. Star Helen Mirren is not afraid to flash the flesh (and never has been!). Other examples include Kirsten Scott Thomas getting into the bathtub in 'The English Patient', Alan Bates and Oliver Reed nude wrestling in 'Women in Love', Richard Gere in 'American Gigolo' and the disturbing Laundry line-up in 'The Magdalene Sisters.'

Ewan McGregor has never been one to shy away from stripping off as he has appeared fully nude in 'Trainspotting' and 'Young Adam.' Rachel Miner (probably most famous for her brief marriage to Machauly Culkin) did alot of nude scenes in Larry Clarke's gritty 'Bully'. Recently ex-Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett went full-frontal for straight-to-DVD offering 'Lake Placid 3'.

Alot has changed in the movie business in the last number of years with increased levels of full frontal nudity in many of today's offerings, particularly in European movies.
one interesting feature of that film is that there was two versions of that film shown and on vhs tape. one was the uk official version that got a certicate by the film board and the continental version that didnot. as probably remember parts of the film was doctored (these are the bits that was shown) . but whole parts of the film was reshot for the "porn version" i have seen both films and even though they are the same film there are two distinct versions of it.
I gather the british actors in it (one of the main male actors) said they knew nothing about the other scenes, sorry to say they lied as they knew parts of the film would never be shown in the uk. has enyone else ever seen both versions of this film and can they remember how long the extra parts in the film was..

I think one was about 8 inches and the other was only 5. But it was cold in the studio that night.

It's funny when you think about it. Full frontal male nudity is a lot more explicit than full frontal female nudity - you see full genitalia - whereas female nudity is normally just pubes with all the genitalia hidden.

So I think a male actor is 'giving away' a lot more when he agrees to do it.

Lifeforce is a good example of full frontal nudity.

The 'Imperial Edition' DVD release contains the full uncut (hardcore) version (156 mins), the original cinema version (102 mins) and an alternative version (which I think is the one that Channel 4 aired some years ago) which clocks in at 153 minutes. Essentially the latter was a re-cut without the Bob Guccione hardcore scenes, in an attempt to create the version that Tinto Brass might have made had he not been locked out of the editing room.

Full frontal nudity - specifically, explicit male full frontal - on TV bemuses me more. If an erection is deemed permissible on a cinema screen, why are they so cagey about the same excited member being shown on TV? After all it is going to be that much smaller, and so people's ardour will be far less piqued, lest the fear be that we would run the risk of mass apocalyptic sexual frenzy as a result of TV viewers seeing a hard-on.

Just watched "Among Giants" on iPlayer and Pete Postlethwaite and Rachel Griffiths both get the lot out. At 53 minutes if you're curious

That's a great movie - makes you think about the human condition!

Hated Bruno, it just went too far and I can tolerate a fair amount of vulgarity but that film just disturbed me!

Do Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling go full-frontal in 'Blue Valentine' does anyone know? I've heard there was quite a bit of censorship controversy as it was originally certified as an NC17.

It got a 15 uncut in the UK, so it can't be anything that bad.

What about full 'backal' nudity? I don't think I've ever seen anyone's bumhole in a 'proper' film. Not that I want to, it just seems to perhaps be the ultimate taboo. Granted there might be in some of the 'contains real sex' films referenced here, such as Shortbus, but I haven't seen most of them.

Anne Hesch, the remake of Psycho, apparently just for a few frames, but it's there.

I'd heard too, occurring during the 'falling dead over the bath' bit of the shower murder apparently.

I'm sure there must be some full backal nudity in 'The Piano' if you look hard enough.

I don't particularly want to see either Harvey Keitel or Holly Hunter's arseholes, but if they're there then they deserve to join a hall of fame for such a thing.

Theres a "full frontal" scene in Schindlers List, which I've always found possibly the most disturbing scene in the movie. Its like the Nazi's strip the jews of every last ounce of dignity and privacy. Very disturbing scene.
