The overprotective father this week was a bit of a vagina, but the other dad looked like would have been quite good looking a few years ago.

Ohwell, I'm surprised they took initiative to wear "appropriate" clothing for the foam party, but then choose to wear white and flip flops...

I am thinking of complaining to Ofcom about this programme. The show's title has *sex* in it, but nobody has got close in this programme to getting any at all! I would just crack up if there was an episode where the parents went to their darling daughter's holiday accommodation to have a snoop around, only to stumble upon her being teamed by two waiters. Now that would be memorable!!!

EATA: ... they are definately mental - I feel sorry for the guy now and not surprised that he appears so "sheltered"...

Seems convenient that just as the reveal is in danger of going stale (parents are suspicious, parents observe and have a change of heart followed by an emotional reveal) the whole phone thing suddenly happens.

Next week looks *ahem* interesting to say the least.

I would suggest the lad in it this week will be coming out of the closet in a few years - he's camp, shy with girls, desperate to fit in with his mates and be blokey (not convinced by the multiple visits to the strip club), overprotective Mother figure.....

The lad whose parents are ridiculous, surely when they were younger they may of got up to a few things they expect him to be verging on borderline religious. I think the dad was smarter than he let on he knew what he was doing sometimes, whereas the mum seemed daft as a brush going a library etc, daft sod.

Joe's dad was mortified when his son kissed a bloke..!

Just seen the teaser at the end of this week's episode... Interesting indeed... Maybe they saved the best (or do I mean worst) til last.

I wonder which legal and privacy issues are relevant to this programme's production.

eg
After the 'reveal', presumably the son / daughter has to agree to the production and transmission. Otherwise the crew have wasted a whole heap of time and money.

If the son / daughter does something illegal or dangerous, do the production crew have a duty of care? Or do they just observe impassively, regardless of what it is?

I would expect so - in another BBC3 programme, World's Strictest Parents, one of the teens sneaked off to a dodgy-looking tattoo shop and was getting a tattoo and the production team stepped in once they found him and stopped it due to fear of shared needles, infection, etc., leaving him with a half-finished tattoo.

I would expect the same applies here - on one episode, a guy and his mates were discussing jumping off the balcony and into the pool and I was expecting if that was going to happen that someone would have a word.

Couldn't agree more!

Was absolutely incensed when I saw that!

Thought he was a big brave boy did he? - doing that to a girl then showing his true colours by running off

I haven't watched this week's yet. I just like to watch it so I can be angry at these people for being so stupid. Why do they go around saying "oh look if my mum saw me doing this I'd be in trouble" or whatever when clearly they know they're on camera and their mum would see it, regardless of whether she was there or not??
