You've definitely gone through a patch of rather blah stories. But I don't think there's any more. There's a couple of light-hearted ones to go but they are quite memorable ones.

You'll know that something big is going to happen at some point if you remember Xena's vision that Alti showed her in Adventures of the Sin Trade

But I'll shut up now I'm like a balloon of information wanting to explode lol
You're making me want to rewatch them myself.
I really enjoyed 'paradise found' and 'devi' so looks like its picking up again.

I'm guessing that vision thing will happen at the season finale

I love it in Paradise Found when Xena loses the goodness in her and takes out a load of birds and a rabbit with her chakram, seeing her pull it out of the rabbit and it's covered in blood and fur is quite surprising.

The next two stories are great too, and they delve even deeper into Indian mythology.
The Way is really a landmark episode in Xena.

Used to love watching Xena
I've noticed now that Dawn Steele in Wild at Heart looks remarkably like Lucy Lawless in her Xena days

Karl Urban deserves alot of credit, he plays two principle characters in Xena - Cupid and Caesar. Completely different from eachother (and like I say about alot of Johnny Depp characters) you can't really imagine them interacting with eachother, nevermind being the same person.

Shiri was also Dr Daria in ER. lol didn't know that.

If you stayed awake through Adventures of the Sin Trade, which I always struggled to do. I do remember seeing that vision, then C5 stopping showing Xena and having to wait several years to see the outcome.

Season 4 finale was weird but very funny. I very nearly wet myself at "annie the mighty kicks a lot of fanny"

Just finished episode 'chakram' from season 5

Wow you've been busy.

That means you've seen Fallen Angel starting off season 5. That has to be the most epic story of all, and even won them an Emmy award.
My fave bit is Gabrielle turning into a demon and telling Callisto that she wanted her family to die so she'd have a reason to be a b*tch. When her voice changes mid-sentence I'm a bit like -

oh god yeah that was genuinely frightening.

i'm also happy they ended the callisto storyline.

I was bitching to my other half that I was sick of gabrielles "waaaah i just want peace" routine only for the next scene to have her go mental and start knocking the shite out of the bad guys.

Yeah, that was rather erotic wasn't it. heh heh Especially when she's disarmed of her weapon so she just tackles the guy down and starts head-butting him. lol

Don't be dissing the Sin Trade.
I happily watched series 2 and 3 on ch5, then that was it, it disappeared.
I remember it particularly being on Saturday at 8:05pm.

Good to see a fan of series 5, that's the series that usually gets the most stick and even the producers criticize that one the most, mainly about some plots of the later stories.

I have only recently started watching Xena, and am really enjoying it. I always dismissed it in the past, as I had the impression it would be unwatchably cheesy. But for me at least, its the cheesiness that gives it its charm!

I have to say so far I am enjoying season 5 a lot more than season 4.

i'm trying to space out the episodes because i don't want it to end

how sad is that?

I'm just dissapointed that whenever I make any sudden movements I don't get that wicked sound effect

How did you manage to get spoiled?

It's way more complicated than that anyway Besides, you've got a long way to go yet.
Afterall, you've got to see how this Xena being pregnant storyline develops
Although you are also heading for some of the worst stories of Xena - Lyre, Lyre, Hearts on Fire (you may have got to this one, an inferior Bitter Suite), and Married with Fishsticks (possibly the worst story ever).

You don't have to think about the final until the last double-episode.

Some half wit at work over heard me talking about it and spoiled it

lol I've been warned about Lyre Lyre & Married with fishsticks.

I'll give them a go. I can always skip them if they are that bad
