I want to see Contestants improving week after week and if Kerry, chloe or anyone else deemed unpopular does that then thats fine with me!

But we all know the show is about popularity as well as good performances. I'm sure a good skater will win as in the past & that's the main thing.

Unlikely, Kerry is supposed to be quite good and for each person that dislikes her there is no doubt someone who likes her. Chloe is a different proposition, I don't think she will be much of a threat in terms of her ability, I guess the question with her is.....will she be able to overturn the tide of public opinion?

Ultimately if the 'good' skaters go out early its a failing in the format of the show.

I think if Kerry comes out like Danniella did on the first show last year, she'll be fine.

I hope the 'most disliked' won't be disliked, once we get to see them doing their best on the ice. It's always nice to have one's prejudices and preconceptions challenged and turned upside down!

I think that happened last year with Sinitta.
I'm not saying she was the best as she left too soon to really tell but she was by no means the worst when she left.

I hope the most promising skaters get a chance to prove themselves and don't fall victim to people voting for their favourite personality!

Agree Eviesmum but feel Daniella more genuine that Kerry is hoepfully will be proved wrong. Chloe seems ok to me reading her twitter she is friendly enough with those who tweet her am prepared to give her a chance

Its luck though and thanks to the skate off in several cases. With alot of people at the start its random who gets the smallest percentages as often there's some getting 20-30% and a lot scrambling over another 20 % between them. This year they are trying something new to start with and they might lose a lot of their potential competition early if their worst people have followings.

Is there a tide of public opinion with regard to Chloe Madeley? I would have thought her main problem would be that not many people would vote for her (unless she shows exceptional promise) because they don't know her. Well, that and being the spawn of Satan.

In reply to the original question, Ray Quinn seemed to be quite widely disliked for some reason, but he was the best skater by a mile in that series, and he won.

I agree with you re Danniella and Kerry. However, one of the most enjoyable features of this kind of show is being surprised by someone you thought you wouldn't like, so you never know.
