T-Mobile HSDPA Speeds
Has anyone else noticed that T Mobile seem to limit their HSDPA speeds to that of 3g even when have full signal ?

If you are getting 0.3mb/s you will need Web n Walk Plus which gives you 3GB of use and HSDPA speeds. Costs a little more though

If you buy the phones directly from T-Mobile then this can sometimes be avoided.
When i got my pay as you go iPhone from them, at first internet was capped to about 350kb, with full signal in HSDPA area. When i got the text to say my free internet has been activated, it shot up to about 2mb straight away.. |

Seems a little strange for them to limit people and then charge extra to remove the cap - wonder if this is going to get worse with the EE merger .... the 2mb also seems to be a cap that other networks dont enforce, perhaps T-Mobile cant handle data quite as well

Interestingly on the inclusive 500mb I do get 350k and really that is not I feel very fast at all.
