Jess has tweeted that she's in Mamma Mia till June - don't know date - but as she started on June 10, cast change should be the Saturday before that , or just possibly the one after.

She may be leaving, or not , or doesn't know yet, or can't say - but if you want to see her - before the June cast change may be an idea.

Its an immense role. Jessica has listed parts in 17 songs in the show , and nearly all of them are big solos and duets . its sung without mikes, and allows her to show off her power and ability to interpret the lyrics. Tess also a massive acting role - as you might expect from the title. .She gets to play the full range of emotions going - and does it really well. There's even some pretty impressive dancing in there too. She's pretty amazing - its well worth a visit.

The comment in the last one about the people in the front row feeling the intensity, is interesting . Jess plays intense very well - don't try and hold eye contact with her for too long in that scene - she wins.

It needs help getting people on seats though - as the bigger papers didn't seem to make the trip to review it. and it doesn't have that much publicity. Its only 16 minutes by train from Waterloo and then a five minute walk.

The big news, as hoped, is that Jessica is the Maria understudy. It would now be useful to know when, and if, Danielle gets a holiday - as thats when Jessica may be on. Danielle is off to New York 13 Feb, so there's a good chance Jessica may be on around then - the tour is in Sheffield that week.

There's a second stop in Singapore - Fantine to be announced. Singapore runs from 31 May to 26 June.

Interestingly, Jessica's playing Factory Woman and understudying Fantine. Fantine in Manila is the current London one. if they think Jessica can play Fantine, and she's got a good look and the vocals for it, fingers crossed we might see her get the lead playing it?
