Has anyone got a good plain scone recipe?
![]() I'll be using a fan-assisted oven, and preferably I'd like one that doesn't involve cream. Thanks. |

My mum has a brilliant one, simple as anything... However, she's asleep just now so i'll ask her tomorrow and post the recipe up

Come to think of it, it's more or less this she uses, but don't knead the dough once its made, just pat it!

I'm not sure, i've only ever seen mum use egg as a wash to make them shiny!
