Dangerous dog !
molliepops
07-01-2011
Who would have thunk it I own a dangerous dog !

I am extremely allergic to anything with a pip/stone or seed unless thoroughly cooked.

Yesterday afternoon my husband gave Mollie a slice of apple, ten minutes later she gave me a sloppy kiss and half an hour after that I was being injected with my epipen of adrenaline waiting for an ambulance to get me breathing again !

Night in hospital and a very much "taught a lesson" feeling.

No more apples for Mollie or no more kisses !

Hope you feel OK now, molliepops. Sounds scary. What a way to go though - kissed to death by your dog.

I can never quite understand why some people allow their pets to lick their faces?

Because we appreciate that they're showing affection?

My dogs show me plenty of affection, but they certainly don't get to lick my face - especially when i've seen what else they have been licking.

Does it not bother you that he's probably been licking his spuds before he licks you?

Well as she is a lady doggie Mollie doesn't have bollocks to lick but even if she had I have have owned dogs for well over 27 years now all have licked me at sometime or other and this is the first time there has been a problem and to be fair it wasn't her bollock licking that caused the rush to hospital.

our little boy dog wouldn't have been as 1) he can't reach them & 2) he doesn't have any

I can only refer you to my last post I have never become ill from kisses. Perhaps a little dirt is actually healthy

One of my dogs gives me lovely kisses and he even cuddles me afterwards. I don't care where his tongue has been and I have never been ill from his kisses.
