Hi, I have copied about 160GB of programmes (all SD) to an external Iomega HDD formatted to FAT32. The copying process has worked, and I can watch the files on my Windows 7 PC. However, I can't copy the files back from the external HDD to the Humax HDD (Foxsat HDR). I can't play back from the external drive either. I copied the files to the root folder of the external HDD. Anyone have any ideas? My Foxsat is being replaced on Monday!

To play back the files or upload them there should be 3 files all with the same name with .ts .nts and .hmt. extensions. The latter are sidecar support files without them the hdr won't play the footage

The three files are all there, but for some reason I can't copy or play from the external HDD. On my PC I copied a small file over to a memory stick and plugged that into the Humax. It did play/copy from here, so it looks like that will have to be my work around. Strange I can copy to the Iomega HDD but not from it to the Humax. Next problem is that I only have a 1MB memory stick. I do have a 2MB one but that didn't work with the Hummy. Final question from me then is can anyone recomend a min 4GB memory stick that will work without the need for any formatting etc. Many thanks.
