Hi there,

a few weeks ago I noticed a change on my HDR. When I first recieved it, beside every recording the channel name appeared. Now The channel number is shown beside every recording.....
Did I miss some kind of update ?

I liked it better with the channel name next to the recording.

I cant find any reference to such a change on the hummy website.
Has anyone else noticed this change ?

Go into setup and check that the STB mode is 'freesat'.

yep, box is in freesat mode.
The channel numbers next to the recordings are freesat numbers ( 101 102 103 etc... ) and not non freesat ones ( 5001, 5002 .... )

Anyone else got this "problem" ??

How bizarre. Mine says the channel name and not the lcn. Time for a factory reset maybe

What does the info say when you press info on a recorded item ?

I have seen this once - but only on one channel - it went away.
Last suggestion a freesat retune.

Will I loose my recordings ??

Do I have to copy them on to my external drive first ???

What about my settings regarding non freesat - I have also got ASTRA 19 set up - It was a pig to do so if I may say.......

Will those settings be gone too ???

You won't lose any recordings. You will lose all the non-freesat channels stored and your settings . Also any changes made to defaults will be restored to defaults - volume output, power saving in sby etc. In your case using a diseqc switch it might be better to live with it. afaik you can't save the non-freesat settings.

Before you do that - do you get the same on other channels? - and what is the signal quality like on CH101?
It is normally the channel short name that appears after the programme name - when you are watching that channel what appears on the box display window?
