I'm just going to IGNORE the JLS dislikers ' comments because music is SUBJECTIVE, if they hate the band that is their opinion, but many DO LIKE THEM

It's more than just opinion, though. JLS made it clear that they had a marketing tactic to remain in the spotlight. Their management are very aware of the trashy state of pop music so JLS are going to, apparently, release something every year to make sure they're still noticed.

JLS are very well marketed.

Adding to what Carmen has just said, I've addressed the reasons why I dislike JLS many times on this forum. I would do so again but people will probably tell me to 'stop going on about it'. I don't just dislike them for no reason.

I disagree. JLS are hard workers and they are nice to their fans. They CAN actually sing and dance. I think that people don't like them because they know how the music industry works so they use that knowledge to their advantage.

My original comments still stand, if you don't like them that's fine, and i'm going to repeat it again music is subjective, all musicians are marketed whether you like them or not, so your point doesn't make sense

Their music is shit in my opinion, but it's not my opinion that they have a marketing strategy behind them to purposefully keep them selling records. Chart buyers are very fickle.

Though I have not purchased the song for my iPod, I do quite like it and quite happily sing a long several times per day while its on the radio at work

It doesnt help that they're a bunch of tossers either. Aston (the small one) is definitely the worst. He is so unbelievably arrogant. He sits there pouting in every interview and has this irritating smirk on his face permanently. Hes a true dick.

On top of this their music is tripe. TCIA is garbage with far too much unecessary autotune. LYM is painful to listen to with its waily chorus and stupid shouty third verse, and annoying whispery first verse. They seem to get worse with every single single in fact.

They're overplayed, ubiquitous and overrated.

All in all, everyone is perfectly entitled to despise JLS. They are the one act I can safely say I actually hate. Yes, hate is a strong word. Thats precisely why im using it.

Exactly! As the saying goes, "Don't hate the player, hate the game". JLS are sucessful because they have a team, that understands exactly how, the music industry works. I hope that JLS,continued to do well because they are talented.

I have to say that I strongly don't agree with that statement, having seen him do numerous charity events and he's also an ambassador for Beatbullying and has done a large amount of work for them, especially in schools, where he was himself bullied I strongly disagree that he is 'arrogant'

I have no idea what your talking about, I have never seen him pouting in an interview, and as for 'smirking' I think he's just smiling, he's quite a happy outgoing person - nothing wrong with that.
