I'm a big Strictly fan but new to Dancing on Ice. Surprised at the production quality. Wrong VT, over long pauses... a bit clunky and not very slick in general. What do you guys think?
Strictly isn't really on the same scale is it? Surely anyone can see that.
A show in a TV studio is a very different prospect to a show on the vastness of DOI.
There were quite a few shambolic moments. Someone needs to have a word with whoever is in charge of the cameras. Having skaters perform off camera while we view only the ice isn't that entertaining.
Lots of fluffed lines too, mix up with the VTs and for opening night I thought the tension was palpable, not only the nerves of the skaters.
