I was not expecting it to be as brilliant as it is, at all. Dr Luke and Max Martin really did a good job with those. What I am most pleased about is that they haven't auto tuned her to death like they did in 3. I love it, it's exceeded my expectations, and I have no doubt that this will be a worldwide smash. It's generic in that it is yet another dance tune, but at the same time the beat is different to what is hitting number one today. The lyrics are nothing special, but the play on words with "hold it against me" is clever, it's a good hook.
Considering how well she delivered the vocals (by that I mean she's more than just singing some lyrics), I cannot wait to see the video and performances of this.
