I don't know if anyone else has noticed but it seems to start late every week taking it down to 25 mins, I switched over at 10pm and then had to put up with several minutes of some strange Scottish poetry that went on and on, no offence to any Scots

Another excellent episode. This show really has improved loads since Ep1. From Ep1 onwards to now it's gotten better each time. More humour, more comedy, more laughs.

Loved the Matt's Make-A-Wish scene with Sean and Beverly and also loved Sean visiting Morning and squirming when she became quite frisky!

Felt sorry for poor Carol at the end, really hope she doesn't go back to Merc Le Penis!

FAB show. Possibly my favourite thing on TV at the moment!
Loving it and agree it flies by. Can never look at Sponge Bob in the same light again

I was pleasantly surprised with the ending because when the idea that both were going to have a weekend away I thought it was going to be a predictable both couple bump into each other in Cabo.

It was a better episode than last week but the funeral has been the best so far.

Fantastic episode...and it hasn't even finished yet! Loved the phone calls to all the 'Friends'.

Also, great line of "I'd die for you" "But you didn't!"

Like them having a proper conversation together (and a drink).

When's the repeat, want to see the stalkers nips again.

It's not hilarious or anything more gently amusing, but the lines are good.
Quite a sad ending tonight too, so that was well done, felt for them both.

I was expecting them to end up with Helen Baxendale as the Friend.

Wonder if we'll get to see Matt make the speech in another episode?

I hope we do. It was supposed to be a couple of weeks away so maybe the next episode? I hope we do see a 'Friend' in the series soon. Jennifer and Lisa have guest starred in Courtney's shows so fingers crossed....

Its quietly turning into a full blown "dramedy", what are the the numbers like? It would great if they squeeze a third series out of it.

Hovering around 1 million

I doubt we'll get a 3rd season

I'm enjoying the series, but that was one of the most predictable plot lines ever. As soon as I saw the episode synopsis in last week's TV guide I knew it would be Gunther.

If, like me and maybe the other 1% of the population that hasn't watched Friends, the 'punchline' was a bit of an anti-climax. I sort of had to assume that he was a minor character and the joke lay therein.

This series has been fantastic, Matt le Blanc is SO talented a complete revelation.
The end was so sad though, I thought they would get back together, but I guess in those situations it's probably less easy to forgive and forget than we think. It's probably more realistic that they split up in Hollywood.
I actually think it would be better to finish up with this series and leave it as a good complete self contained work, rather than dragging it out further and watching the quality diminish.

*stupid question alert but I HAVE to ask, does Matt le Blanc get on with the rest of the Friends in real life?*

By the way, since Morning's brother was played by James Purefoy (born 1964) and he said he was 3 years younger than her, if he is supposed to be the same age as the actor, that would make Morning about 50-51. Would make their parents a bit old when they had them but just about possible.

I would think so To be able to say all that stuff I'm sure it's all fine. I kept having to remember that this is fictional Matt and he didn't really say and do all that stuff to the other Friends

Me Too He's so convincing, I keep thinking he's actually like that, I guess there are elements of his true self, but exaggerated.

This is television.

She mentioned a couple of weeks ago on the way to the funeral, that her mum or dad, I can't remember was in their nineties

Yes, that's why I thought they would be a bit old when they had her if she was only 50-51. But of course James Purefoy's character could be older than he is in real life making her mid-fifties.

As someone else intimated, it's TV and it's a running joke, don't take it so seriously.

I thought it was really sad when just as it looked like Sean and Bev were connecting again it all went...limp.

Quite a contrast to the opening scene with a topless Labia (that doesn't sound right...) in Matt's apartment.

I thought that scene was quite ironic considering the Pucks producer is looking for Friends guest stars to improve ratings when showing female nudity is a similar desperate measure and probably for the same reason.
