Was about to makje myself a tin of Heinz Tomato soup earleir, put it an a bowl to microwave but didnt get chance as the phone rang so I left it on the side as I went to answer it. Then I got waylaid and doing some other bits and came back to find by two cats had wolfed a lot of it down out of the bowl.

I am assuming it will not harm them , they seem fine, they must have enjoyed it the amount they had . Just wondered if anyone elses cats have a taste for soups and the like. I know my two are rather keen on the the newer Felix with veggies in.

Mine are partial to licking the bowl when I finished soup and sometimes hover near when you have eaten it.

A cat I used to have licked the top of the tomato ketchup bottle, and she also like the tomato sauce from pichards more than the fish themselves.

Mine love the sauce from mackerel some eat the mackerel some eat both

Mine are odd , they seem to have gone off any other human titbits but now seem to like heinz tom soup , oh well.

I have had a couple of cats in the past who were partial to tomato sauces, even those heavy on the garlic.

My cat loves licking the wee bits of soggy cereal that get left in the bowl, especially All Bran.
