Does anyone else recall this one? It got a lot of airplay on Radio One in late 1983, but never made the top 40-but in my opinion, it deserved to, as it was a really good song.

Reminds me of a holiday in the USA back in 1986. Was often on the radio.

I always wondered why Maria Magdalena wasn't a hit here. It was all over Europe back then. The 'Self Control' bit in it would have helped too.

The only song by former Eagles member, Joe Walsh I hear played on Radio 2 is Life's Been Good but this song from 1982 I find just as good.

Just remembered this. A great record, yet did little or nothing chartwise. Listeners to Mike Read's show in the later 1980s may recognise the tune, as they rerecorded the end of the song, with appropriate lyrics, as a jingle for his show.
