I know, weird eh? I'm watching it now... this time it's a mum who's gonna be leaving older kids behind! It makes me SICK!!!

AND she's terrified of spiders... okaaay!?
Missed most of this one as I wasn't expecting it to be on! It's half-term and children cooking... Shall watch out for it tomorrow!

Huh This is on BBC 2 now 3pm - 4pm, seems to be a carry on from last weeks which was on in the morning!...
There seemed to be something weird about this episode... I could swear that the voiceovers were done by Nadia Sawalha, whereas the pieces to camera were done by Crazyhands Chapman.

I wondered if it was a revisited one and they'd used Sawalha's original commentary and just put Crazyhands in as an afterthought, but at the end there was no "revisiting".

I guess the earthquake in NZ will make people think again about that option!

I'd still go to NZ regardless of earthquakes especially as I wouldn't want to move to a built up area

same goes for floods in Australia.

As I said earlier in this thread UK is a perfectly fine country, and for a better so called lifestyle you just move to the countryside or less built up areas

Vancouver or the British Columbian wilderness for me all the way if I had a choice to move out of this country

You can kind of understand this family being impressed with Australia when you see the area they live in in the U.K.

You'd think as this was filmed in 2008 they could stick a little update at the end..I'd like to know if they went or stayed in the U.K.

They certainly ought to update. Things have changed since since 2008. It's sneaky the way they are mixing in repeats with new ones. You can usually tell from the intro as the new ones suggest three different cities for "our family" whereas the older ones just give one place with country, city & coast options.

I only caught the end of this one but had seen it a couple of times before. I felt sorry for the bloke - his wife seemed very small minded to me and not prepared at all to broaden her horizons. Not saying they needed to emigrate necessarily but she seemed to be restricting her kids future. Just my humble opinion. I do wonder if they are still together as they seemed miles apart

I haven't seen any of these, a bit daft really I can't see the daughter going anywhere and they can't seem to afford the houses they're been shown, mum doesn't know if she'll be able to work because of her illness..

On Escape To The Country today I noticed what a great figure Nicki Chapman has now. Long thick legs, big hips and thighs. I think she should change jobs and go on the game.

no its a repeat, i have to say i think the parents were pretty selfish why didnt they emigrate when the children were smaller because neither of the kids wanted to move there and at 15 and 16 its a terrible age to be making such a big move, i wonder what happened to them?
