Somecats what can I say except

They knew they were much loved, but don't dismiss the idea of giving an abandoned one a much needed home. Older cats are so difficult to re-home and you are just the person they need to open your home and heart to one.

My Rolo was 8 when I had him from Blue Cross in January 2009 following losing my old puss who was 16 and suddenly developed lung problems. It has taken him a while to settle, but he is now the most loving boy with such a funny but lovely little personality

Somecats, I cannot imagine the heartache of losing your 2 beloved pusscats ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))). But at least take comfort from them having good long lives and you loved them dearly, in the end having them pts is the best thing for the pusscat when they have horrible organ failure. They would have thanked you if they could talk. They will be waiting for you. And please think about having another feline friend when you feel ready; don't take all the paraphernalia to the shelter just yet. I will be thinking of you.

I needed a bit of sympathy and empathy, and also wanted to mark their passing. I feel bereft at the moment, and probably will for some considerable time, but I have no doubt that one day I'll be a cat owner again.

somecats Oh my goodness I am so, so sorry for your loss. I have had one PTS 3 years ago this year and by god that was so hard. It actually is the hardest, hurtful thing that I have ever had to do in my life, so to do it twice in as many weeks, well my heart goes out to you.

You are sure in the knowledge that you loved them, they knew you loved them, and by doing what you did you proved that to them in the most touching, heartfelt way by letting them go and not letting them suffer.
