Yes it does have a scart output as well as HDMI.
Not sure what you mean about aerial loops? The dish connections plug straight into the back of the HDR. Your normal aerial should plug into your TV. |

It's just when you connect up freeview, dvdr etc the aerial sockets all have to "looped" so that there is a connection and at the end of the loops they go into the aerial socket at the back of your tv, I think its so you can get tv programmes on your PVR etc. thanks a lot for replying bbuk

There is no aerial sockets on Freesat kit. The foxsat-hdr has two scart sockets TV and vcr but you only need a single hdmi cable to a TV. The other coonections are two to a dish

The HDR won't record freeview channels via the aerial.
) and the HDR is for myself, so I need to keep the aerial connection but I now know that I do not need the aerial looping for the HDR BUT still need it for the FV PVR. But do I still need the scart connection if I want to record from my HDR to my DVDr (I Know it will not be in HD)? |

If you can avoid chaining the dvdr via the hdr to the TV as when it starts to record it will auto select the scart input on the TV unless you doctor the hdr to tv scart cable |
