Oh sweet jesus. As Apple are not going to release a whole range of phones to cater for all budgets then there is no way iOS will kill off Android. And as there will always be those willing to pay for Apple products there is no way Android is going to kill off iOS. (If someone responds "Evidence" then I hope they get Syphilis).

Can we have this mental thread closed down?

It's not Android that Apple need to worry about. It's a like for like with these phones.

Many are choosing Iphone to a Blackberry despite them being poor features like small screen, 2MP cameras. Iphone 3G all over again? Fashion over features.

The real technical people will argue Android is best as it's more open. Course there's no set phone you can go for some Androids are well build some Samsungs like Galaxy S are like cheap plastic.

I don't think the Iphone 4 has attracted the same audience as the 3GS. It's a trend I've seen I'd not have seriously considered the 3GS. If I don't like Iphone 5 I'll go back to an Ipod. The big difference between the 3GS and Iphone 4 is the 4th was a big advancement like HD video, better display and 5MP camera. It crossed the bridge of being a fashion phone to a seriously cool gadget.
