Kate Bush is supposedly releasing a new album this year
which if similar to Aeriel means that it will more likely be 2025 when it is released

or maybe not, do you think its a rumour or is there any credibility behind the story?

A possibility that it won't happen, but oh please, please , please.

Ms Bush must have tons of songs that we have not heard!

any links to this information?

To be honest, I don't for one minute think we'll get another KB album for at least another decade but you never know. A rushed ('rushed' as in KB rushed), though stripped down album of Kate and her piano would be more than welcome.

ok, just read about it, again, not sure how true it is but if anything does materialise I expect it to be a new GH.

I'm not sure. I don't want to get my hopes up because I know what happens when I do, lol.

I know she's been working on music, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's ready to release it. For anyone else who's had a five year break, I'd say "yeah, that sounds about right". For Kate? No.

I really like her last album. I know a few people didn't really care for it, but I thought it was fantastic once I got into it.

I really like Kate, but it annoys me that she's so inconsistent releasing stuff. In the last 2 decades she's released 2 albums. I know, I know, quality not quantity, but come on!

I know she's supposedly been in the studio but it seems much too soon for her to release another album considering how long she took to release Aerial.

I wouldn't like the idea of her "rushing" (by her standards) an album out, either. I'd much rather wait another couple of years than get something which feels like it's just been pasted together.

So as much as I'd love a new KB album, I'm taking this news with a massive pinch of salt.

would love it to be true!

I absolutely love Kate Bush! she's made some of my all time favourite albums/songs and videos and her voice defies anything!

cannot believe Arial had hardly any promotion and one single released yet it still got to Platinum status and i think it sold around half a million, THATS a dedicated fanbase alright! and not only that but the album is really impressive.

Would love for her next album to be released around Winter time, maybe comeback in a BIGGER way, get herself out there a bit more. Play on Jools Holland etc. would be really lovely

if ts was a regular as clockwork then it would be as boring as clockwork.

I also think her family is a lot more established and she might have more time in her head to create music than ten years ago.
At least that is what I am hoping has happened so the rumours might be true.

I adore Aerial. It's a truly beautiful work of art and I could listen to it on repeat. It might be my favourite Kate Bush album, if I was forced to choose. I know a lot of fans favour her earlier albums but there's something so calming about Aerial that I really connect with.

Please let it be! I'm a proud owner of all her albums and not a single one has disappointed me, so I'm confident that if she does release another, I won't be disappointed.

Very true mr muggles, but here's hoping that now master Bertie is in school full time Kate has all day to do the housework AND work on a ditty or two for our listening pleasure

She did actually say during an interview she did for Aerial that she wanted to take the time to enjoy Bertie's childhood because he wasn't going to be a little boy for very long.

Hopefully now he's getting older she'll find more time for music again. I do miss her.

'New Material' confirmed by spokesperson to NME - But not necessarily a new album...

Maybe some new tracks for a compilation?

While any new material is good news - I fear this probably means a longer wait for a new full-length album...

yeah, just as I thought. Still a comprehensive GH is still pretty welcome as The Whole Story only really covers half the story.

i would love for new songs for a compilation! have all the hits remastered, perhaps a few b-sides etc. and three or four new songs.

With a chat show and radio interviews and of course the hits themselves it would be fantastic to sell itself and perhaps re-introduce Kate to a new audience and get her fans aware that she's still creating...also i hope she does a Madonna and release a DVD of all her video's remastered too alongside!

and if that is true, i'd imagine it would be released in November in time for Christmas rush and the high sales of the winter season etc.

and i too miss Kate...i mean i wasn't born when she was at her height but my dad had a copy of The Whole Story and i loved that! and eventually i had got more and more of her studio albums....i have them all bar the Red Shoes album at the moment.
