Hi

When I select to series record Dancing on Ice on either SD or HD it says there is a conflict with ITV1 Anglia and ITV1 London, but I have no reservations in the schedule and I cannot delete these conflicst either. Am getting ITV (CO7 0PP).

I have done a factory reset to clear out any rogue schedules, but have also recently fitted a new 1TB HDD.

I noticed something funny last week, I had DOI set to series record and at the moment the show started the box crashed, might this have something to do with it?

I am able to select record single programme, weird!

Thanks

It should tell you what its conflicting with.

Ive had this problem and deleted the timers involved and redid them and it was ok, try doing that.

Thats the problem. I have no other timers in the list, so where is the conflict comming from?

Second time I have seen this reported, I take it that the OP has a postcode that puts ITV anglia at 103. Firstly you need to set the hdr to display the crids.

Go into menu/system/diagnostics press red green yellow blue green yellow blue and turn on on crid info.

Now go into the epg and find the 103 entry and press info twice, it should tell you the prog crid and series crid codes make note of them. Now goto the 977 London ITV entry in the epg and note the same codes, Do the same for ITV 1-Hd and ITV1+1 and post the data,

It's looking as if ITV have screwed up and miscoded the crids so that the box thinks that the same episode is two different ones. With the codes it hopefully will be possible to find out why. It's not a problem on my box with a Manchester postcode.

I had this same problem last evening. Single programmes can be recorded but not a series.

I've deleted all the ITV1 + 1 regional variations - except West, which is what we seem to get with a Cardiff postcode. CRID results for Dancing On Ice part 1:

ITV 1 Wales Prog. 641900706#1 / Series 1257753765

ITV 1 HD indentical results

ITV 1+1 West Prog. identical / Series 1258165363

There's the problem typical ITV screw up.

In my case Manchester postcode

ITV-HD Granada, ITV1-Granada, ITV1-London, ITV1+1 Gran Nrth all have same programme crid but different series crid. in order 1257753874, 1257753867, 1257753997 and 1268165315

I find it occasionally happens with BBC programmes: conflict between BBC2 England and all of the other "nations". When it happens next, I'll look at what the CRIDs are.

Last time that happened to me BBC2 Scotland were one programme behind so it tried to schedule two recordings at the same time as the other tuner was committed it failed.

Hi,

Having the same problem here, I deleted channel 977 but am now getting different conflicts:

103 ITV1 ANGS
18:10 – 20:30

119 ITV1 HD
18:10 – 20:30

119 ITV1 HD
19:10 – 21:30

I set-up to record without series link and when I look in the guide 112 ITV + 1SE (19:10 – 21:30) has a clock next to it as does 119 ITV1 HD (18:10 - 20:30). The schedule just lists 119 ITV1 HD (18:10 - 20:30).

Here's the CRID's:

103 ITV1 ANGS : 18:10 - 20:30
Prog: 642214288 #1
Series: 1257754110

119 ITV1 HD : 18:10 - 20:30
Prog: 642214288 #1
Series: 1257754011

112 ITV + 1SE : 19:10 – 21:30
(info says HD> 119 ITV1 HD : 18:10-20:30)
Prog: 642214288 #1
Series: 1258165255

It recorded both 112 ITV + 1SE & 119 ITV1 HD but the 112 ITV + 1SE is 55 mins and the other 143 mins!

At least the missus can be sure she can watch it Tomorrow!

So did I, it's a postcode lottery, some of the itv regions have screwed up crid's, others are OK. With a Manchester postcode there is not a problem.

I had an 'odd occurrence' with this last night - to 'set the scene':

1. Dancing on Ice set to series link record (19:10 to 20:30 and [results show] 21:30 to 22:00

2. Wild at Heart set to series link record (20:30 to 21:30)

As we were watching recording of the 1st DOI show (approx 20 minutes behind 'live' show) at 20:30 a banner appeared stating a conflict?! As we were watching a recording I would have thought it would have recorded ok (DOI had not finished recording at that time).

I cancelled the new reservation (Wild at Heart) and did a 'manual record'.

When I looked at the schedule a short while later, the DOI results show was not scheduled to record - the series link had gone straight to next weeks show. I wasn't bothered as I was going to watch the show 'live' anyway, however, as the show was about to start the' Start Recording' message appeared on the box info window. The tv screen then went blank and the box (Humax PVR) did a reboot - resumed to DOI Results but didn't continue to record!

Weird?!

Anyone else experience this - or know why this chain of events happened?

I'm having the same problem today (18th March), trying to record the James Bond on 119 ITV HD.

It claims that it's comflicting with the same film on 0965 ITV HD, yet I don't have that scheduled, but 965 is a BBC channel anyway.

Confused? You should be.......

Very Confused , on my Foxsat-hdr with latest beta V15 firmware just tried to set a one off for ITV1-Hd Granada Die Another Day tonight and it throws up a clash with 969 BBC2 NI Gardeners World and it's also at a totally different date and time (18:30-19:30 19/3). Checked the crids and they are totally different. Can you confirm which Freesat+ box and firmware version you have ?

Graham, I have to acknowledge that I also have a conflict with Gardeners World on BBC HD, but that's because I'm recording it......

However, when I remove the Gardeners World schedule, Die Another Day, then conflicts with itself twice. Once with the mysterious 0965 and again with 977 ITV London!

I'm using a Foxsat-HDR on HPRSFCI 1.00.13 and Loader U7.52.

Although I'm in the Blackhill transmitter area, I'm using Borders for the normal reasons.

I also re-booted earlier, with no effect.

Incidentally, because the programme is split, and is technically, a series recording, I've also tried as a one-off recording for the first half.

Guess what? Yes, that doesn't work either.

Looks like I'll need to watch it live. Haven't done that for years.

This is very strange I am also recording Gardeners World on BBC-HD but that's all at that time. Have you got crid display enabled. I would love to know what your box says the 119 and 977 crids are. On mine they have a different series but the same prog crid so don't generate a clash.

Does the 965 clash actually match times and dates (overlap in any way with the recording)

If you don't know how to turn on crid info post back.

Have you tried setting a pair of manual recordings for the two halves. ?

Schedule - Up one. Yellow on the empty space enter the details.

Repeat for the other half

And here was me thinking that I had finished with technical stuff for the day, having installed HomePlugs to get I-Player!

119 and 977 have the same Prog CRID: 643492081 #10

119 Series: 1259652032

977 Series 1259652151

In my earlier post I said that I had tried the first half only, with the same result.
