Hi all,
I have a black gloss kitchen, which whilst lovely, is a bit bland. I'm looking for some nice glasses to display, and I previously bought some lovely wine glasses from next which were different neon colours - The green one broke, and the blue one met an unfortunate end in the dishwasher, so I'm on the lookout for some more.
I need to buy wine glasses and hiball glasses or tumblers anyway, but what I really want are brightly coloured ones, neon or pastel, although preferably bright so I can display them and brighten up the kitchen a bit!
Does anyone know anywhere selling them?

Possibly John Lewis and Ikea.

Also Marks and House Of Fraser.

Marks have similar to the Next wine glasses, in red, purple or black for £4 each - M&S conical wine glass

Next do a set of 4 in teal for £16 - Next conical wine glasses

Ooh, these are pretty slick but not sure if you want to stretch to £8.80 a glass - Platinum stem glasses

Thanks for the replies - I'd prefer them to be ALL colour rather than just the stem (I know, I'm very fussy...).

I've found these tumblers I quite like http://www.4yourkitchen.co.uk/zeal-p...ble-picnicware - Which would do the job nicely!

They are similar, but I've found these on next too http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/homew...nbsp%3bGlasses - Although I wish they were a bit brighter...

My kitchen is on the ground floor and doesnt have the best light, and there are black cupboards, appliances and worktops so I really want nice bright things to liven it up!

I've got some bright chopping boards and things which I have out, but the windowsill is a bit bare at the moment and thats where I'd like to display any nice bright things I end up with!

TK Maxx sometimes have amazing homeware bargains if you overcome the snob factor. Yesterday in my local one they had some really gorgeous blue and green sets as well as Jamie Oliver chunky goblets at silly prices.

If you have any vintage shops near to you pop in. They often have some fabulous tableware but you may not get full sets. You could also try charity shops. Then again have you thought about the brightly coloured picnic stuff you can pick up in the likes of Tesco or Asda ? I know they are plastic but they can add a splash of colour.

If the glasses are primarily for display why not use glass paints to customise them. The paints are easy to use and you will have fantastic unique glasses.

That's a good idea! Do they work out expensive?

I buy three pots of the primary colours and mix them. Think they are £3 -£4 a pot. There would be plently of paint to do other projects as well. Good fun with kids. Also you can get pretend 'lead' in a tube so that you can get a mock stained glass effect which is fun on mirrors.
