Lip Sync Problem
I have a Samsung UE46C8000XK TV, a Yamaha DSP-AX640SE amp and a Thompson SKY+ HD Box. I've connected the TV and the Sky+ HD box to the amp with optical audio cables. When listening through the Amp on the Sky+ HD connection I get lip sync problems. As this appears to be the only way to listen to Sky in Dolby Digital is there a way to fix the lip sync problem?

Most AV amps have audio delay controls built in for this purpose. Assuming that is that the sound is ahead of the pictures?
Not familiar with your amp but would be surprised if it didn't have an audio delay feature. |

The Sky HD box also has an audio delay feature under <Services> setup ... sound (?? iirc)
Remember to save the setting you choose before backing out ! |
