Pokemon Soulsilver - (3DS)
I'm on a nostalgic trip. Feraligatr is just as awesome as it was back in the day. My current team: Feraligatr [Surf, Water Gun, Crunch, Ice Fang] Togetic [Extrasensory, Sweet Kiss, Yawn, Metrenome] Flaafy [Thundershock, Flash, Thunder Wave, Tackle] Weepinbell [Cut, Vine Whip, Acid, Poison Powder] Vulpix [Ember, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Roar] Farcry 3 - (PS3) Concentrating on the side quests. Still on the first island, but cleared all of the radio towers and pirate outposts. Valkyria Chronicles - (PS3) The Batomys is one mother of a tank!

Sorry for the double-post, but since the edit-time is over...
Farcry 3 – (PS3) Finished the game last night. Enjoyed it overall, but did let me down in some places. The islands are huge, and there are some decent missions around, even if some of them can be repetitive. Stealth is the way to go for this game, but it's too tempting to go rambo. I'd give it a 6.5 / 10. |

Quick update on my team (Pokemon Soulsilver):
Feraligatr - [ Surf, Slash, Crunch, Ice Fang ] Ampharos - [ Thunder Punch, Flash, Headbutt, Thunderwave ] Togetic - [ Extrasensory, Wish, Fly, Yawn ] Ninetales - [ Flamethrower, Willowisp, Quick Attack, Safeguard ] Weepinbel - [ Vine Whip, Sludge Bomb, Poison Powder, Cut ] Girafarig - [ Strength, Psybeam, Shadow Ball, Baton Pass ]
Spoiler
Also been playing Dishonored (PS3). Now sure what to make of it yet. It's far too tempting to just sneak kill everyone with powers, though. Using that rat army power against them is funny to watch.

Beaten Claire's Gym last night, but it was a fluke with a poisoning from Weepinbel's Sludge Bomb shot. I nearly got wiped out, and I'm no where near ready for the Elite Four yet. I think my team should be in their 70s.
By the way... am I the only one posting in this thread anymore?

Gran Turismo 5
Would have been a great game if the cars were controllable. They are great when moving in a straight line, but they take corners like an oil tanker. You practically have to slow down to about 13MPH to turn. It's also rather hilarious how a Renault Clio can somehow outpace a Ford Mustang. Awful |

FIFA 14
Love the game as always, but I'm struggling to get used to the new way of playing. I find it much harder to create chances and I have little time to think about what I am doing before I get closed down by opponents. It is true what they said about scoring goals becoming more satisfying though - I enjoy every goal I score now. Overall I'd rate it 8/10. Grand Theft Auto 5 Amazing game, love the detail put into everything and the storyline is great! It was a nice twist putting three main characters instead of the usual one and I like the interchangeability between the three. Completed the main story a couple of days ago, but still have some side missions to complete - I only have 76% completion at the moment, which tells you about the size of the game. One of my favourite games ever, it earns the perfect 10/10! |

Rome: Total War on the PC.
Only had it for a few days. Pretty good so far. You definitely need a mouse for it, the trackpad on my laptop isn't all that good for games. Playing through the Imperial campaign. So far, power and force of numbers is the way to play. |

The Gauls are making silly demands now, it's quite amusing. Give them five provinces, 5k, and become protectorate... like hell. After I've dealt with the Macedonians, they'll get their turn soon enough, just like every other faction.

Just finished Final Fantasy VIII. Managed to beat Ultimecia single-handedly with Zell's Duel Limit Break, and Rinoa providing Megalixirs for healing. Squall didn't even get a look in.
Gonna move on to Batman: Arkham Origins and The Sly Collection, and then when I've completed those 2, I'm gonna start on Final Fantasy VI. So much gaming, so little time. |
