Thanks Katie. I have been reading things on here but just joined yesterday. Enjoying it so far.

I emailed Stage Entertainment to ask why the tour wasn't coming to Newcastle in 2011 as it had been in all the previous years and they told me they couldn't fit it into the schedule this year but are considering it for next year's tour.

I'm excited already!

A BBC guy had tweeted a pic from one of last years pro tour venues and I had asked if we would be getting another next year. He has replied that....


I then asked if this was for a celeb or pro tour and he replied it was for a 'celeb tour at present but don't rule anything out'...

So a celeb tour is definitely happening, but I'm not so confident about the Pro tour which I had hoped we would get next year.

Any news on this year's tour? I've been eager to know since I went on the DOI one last month

I am interested to know too. My sister is wanting to go again this year as we enjoyed it so much last year in Sheffield and she asked if I knew anything about when it was on

Now I really want to know the line-up and everything - roll on September when Strictly starts!

How many customers attended celeb tour shows? In what ways was the live show better than on TV, and worse?

Not been to the Strictly tour yet (been to the DOI one), but from the YT vids I've seen, it's more interactive (with the celebrities & pros) and fun than the live show

If there is no fear and pathos of eviction, no prestige and ££££££ to be won along with the glitterball, then winning or losing becomes academic, and the show could morph into a Saturday night knees-up -- not that anything is wrong with a congenial party. Not surprising though if Colin was reported as not trying on the last tour or the one before.

This year would be my first Strictly tour! (I've been to the Dancing On Ice one this year though, so I sort of know what to expect )

I can beat that we were not only in the very last row in the upper tier in the O2 - we had the last 3 seats in the row.......

We were actually behind the big screens so we couldn't see anything other than a load of Ants jigging about in the arena!

Not sure about other venues but Cardiff International Arena tweeted earlier that the tour was coming there from 15th-19th February. Pre sale is this Thursday, with general release the following week.

I've registered with Live Nation, so hopefully should get a presale email soon. Had a moment of panic when I thought it clashed with my trip to Champney's, but I'll be back on the 16th.
