Yea I'm not sure that a lot of the scenes in the book are appropriate for a 12 rating

Cut in the UK to get a 12A for cinema. From http://www.bbfc.co.uk/CFF280611/ :

"This film was originally shown to the BBFC in an unfinished version. The BBFC advised the company that the film was likely to receive a '15' classification but that the requested '12A' certificate could be achieved by making changes to a sex scene between the Edward and Bella characters. In particular the BBFC suggested that more graphic sight of Edward thrusting while he lies on top of Bella, and while her legs are wrapped around his torso, be removed. When the finished version of the film was submitted these changes had been made, with the scene having been reduced in length and with less focus on full body shots. As a result, the film was classified '12A'."

The distributor is probably rubbing their hands with glee that they'll now be able to market a X rated (well, 15 ) uncensored bluray.

I reckon that was there goal all along lol
now tweenylighters will have to buy there unrated edition which theyll probley hold back for after the 1st dvd and bluray release of this LOL all for whats probley just a 2sec snippet of them thrusting in bed LOL

because the book just faded out of this scene IIRC so it wast exactly required

I work on a new TV show pilot and I was wondering if anyone reading this thread might be interested in taking part.

We’re looking for someone who is a big fan of the Twilight books and movies – someone who thinks the books and movies are the best thing ever. If that’s you then we might need you to get involved at a rehearsal of ‘Frankie Boyle’s Rehabilitation Programme’ at our rehearsal rooms in West London next week.

We’re holding two rehearsals, one on the 22nd November, the other on the 24th, both of which are during the day in the afternoon.

At the rehearsal Frankie is going make a negative statement criticising Twilight. We need someone who can stand up for the series and passionately debate with him that it is brilliant and worthwhile. This isn’t just going to be Frankie Boyle ridiculing people, it’s meant to be a balanced debate with two equal sides.

Breaking Dawn was the worst book I've read in my entire life, and that's saying a lot because I am a massive reader, I still cannot believe they turned this into a film.

Right i've just got back, bloody brilliant!

Ignore all the critics because out of all the films so far this one catches the book perfectly. It was set-out right and it included everything i was expecting and more.

The Wedding was perfect and not cheesy and the Speeches were hilarious.

The whole Isle Esme part was brilliant i loved the whole Moonlight, Bed Breaking Sex and Bella trying to get Edward going!

Bella all emaciated with the half-breed inside her creeped me out and i nearly puked when her ribs cracked, this lead onto the birth. I loved how Carter Burwell's score was entertwined with the birth. Edward's venom spreading was done well and the flashbacks of Bella's 'Human' life were done well too.

The ending was a bit*h, us leaving the now newborn Bella!

But i'll say i didn't enjoy the wolves 'speaking' and the Imprinting stuff is still creepy.

It was overall better than i expected - LOVED IT!
