Songs which relate to situations you're in/have been in?
I've always found it fascinating how a songwriter and the listener can be on an equal level of understanding sometimes. Have you ever had it where you've just had a song who's lyrics have fitted perfectly with situations you've been in?
I guess I have a few, but these are the most prominent at the moment. I guess it changes though? Numb - Linkin Park Liquid Confidence - You Me At Six Dead and Gone - T.i. ft. Justin Timberlake (Not the rap verses though, I'm not a gangster). Live Your Life - T.i. ft. Rihanna The Only Hope For Me Is You - My Chemical Romance What about you guys? You can elaborate if you want haha

Misguided Ghosts by Paramore.
I've said this a ton of times on various threads, but I'd had a really rough time for a few years (depression, I was in denial for a very long time!) and finally broke down completely when I first heard this song back in september of 2009. Ignorance by Paramore. Again, I related to it because of depression (I spent a very long time feeling angry, sad, let down, guilty etc). The song sums up how I was feeling towards the people closest to me at that time. The Middle by Jimmy Eat World. An uplifting one! First took notice of it a few years ago, and cried because I was in a really bad way. It makes me happy now though because it's such a positive song!

^ I kinda agree about Ignorance by Paramore except in my case it related to a lecturer who was being unhelpful and tried to blame me for problems I was having with group work.
I'll think of some songs I can relate to and then maybe report back

Thought of another one:
Set Me Off - The Saturdays Might sound daft but I had an appointment with a lecturer one day and I didn't want to go and I thought the son was appropriate at the time
