Slingcatcher

Hi,

Anyone used a Slingcatcher?

Do they need to be conected to a router or can they be independant?

Hi
You can not connect a slingcatcher direct to a slingbox,even when used on your LAN it will a need internet connection.
If you want to use the slingcatcher as a medis server,i.e. sling projector,it will still have to be connected via a router or switch,but you will not need a internet connection.
Having said that,thats the only way i can get mine to work!
