What I would like is a delivery report, to see if a message gets delivered or not. My old phone used to do this.

I am on the Three (3) network, and after carrying out some research I can only find the codes you enter in the message for all other networks except 3. -.-

Does anyone know it, or is it not possible?

Not possible as the iPhone does not do delivery reports, and there is no alternative GSM code like O2 uses.

There is actually a way as I get delivery reports on my iPhone 4 with Vodafone without using codes. However your phone does need to be jailbroken. Is yours?

*o# can be used on an iPhone on the T-Mobile network.

I have an iPhone 4 on three and use the iPhoneDelivery app from cydia.

The settings for the method of delivery report are in the messages part of the settings.app.

I have just installed this app via Cydia and it looks pretty good. I can't use it as I am with o2, but I am moving to 3 soon, so I am quite excited by this.

It integrates into bite SMS which just places a tick next to delivered messages (rather than obtrusive pop-ups or a 'reply' message confirming delivery) which is pretty neat.
