I've been doing a bit of experimenting and concocted what I think is the perfect recipe for Baileys. Just mix them all together and you're done.

Ingredients (for 1/2)
• 1 Cup Irish Whisky (250ml)
• 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (200ml)
• 600mls single cream
• 5 tablespoons chocolate syrup
• 2 heaped teaspoons coffee
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

I bought a cheapo Irish cream from Morrisons for £3.99 the other day. I don't drink Bailey's often but I would say that this cheap version is very nice.

Something I did notice on the lable though was it is a blend of Irish whiskey, white wine and cream.
I'd never thought of there being white wine in those types of drinks before.

Maybe they add the wine to make it cheaper? I don't think(?) there's any wine in Baileys?

It's fun doing your own recipes though.

I'm going to try a chocolate orange one and then a white chocolate one.

I've made some this afternoon and am already a bit tipsy.
